I just finished a King Cousland playthrough and used that as an import to DA2. In it, Gawain romanced Leliana and kept her as his mistress, hardening her. After marrying Anora, he went to Amaranthine and Awakenings and I did something I have not done before, I burned Amaranthine to the ground as an 'infected zone'---talk about Wardens and their harsh measures. I wasn't going to keep it, just planned on playing it out and seeing the scenes where you go back to Vigil's, but after playing it, the whole thing just felt right (Gawain was a bit of an ass) and decided to just keep it.  At the end of Witch hunt, which I didn't mind playing as Finn and that Dalish girl aren't bad for companions, (OMFG I will NEVER play GoA ever again) I let Morrigan go raise his OGB through the looking glass.

Doing that to the city added another quest to Kirkwall I'd never done before where you hunt down Amaranthine noble conspirators hiding from the warden in Kirkwall. I am now almost to the end of Act 1 on my playthrough, going through Legacy in this act to see what different lines Carver has (as opposed to later in the story).

Well, know that we know that we have quite the wait before us before DA 3 comes out, why don't will kill some time by replaying the DA series from the start.

I've already started a city elf rogue playthrough. I think it would quite fun for people to post their play through here and what decisions they've made during the game. 

Why city elf? Because I just love that starting adventure of saving your woman and killing that vile noble pig. I usually play DW warrior but I'll switch it up with a Rogue Duelist/Assassin this time.

I've just gone through the city elf origins quest. Ah, killing Vaughan never gets old. It is my favorite origin for a reason. 

The city elf origin is my favorite too. Anyway yeah I'll probably start a new playthrough with you guys, after Borderlands 2 that is.

Next time I do DA:O the only two things I know I'm doing for sure, is having Jowan use his blood magic to kill Isolde and then myself as a mage will make a deal with the demon, so that way Conner still has the demon.

And I will make Loghain a warden and then have him kill himself against the Archdemon as I'm quite sure that's the only ending I haven't chosen yet so I'll get the achievement.

Currently doing that right now with an MHN and I don't know what I'm going to do in regards to the Ferelden Throne just yet. I want to place my Warden on the throne as King (or Prince-Consort), but there's enough content out there that seems to demand placing Alistair on the throne...

Currently they left Lothering and just fended off the Redcliffe Zombie Army.

 I just finished a DA:O playthrough yesterday as a human noble female named Esther. She is a direct sort, with an occasional sarcastic/funny flair. Had her romance Alistair, because I hadn't yet completed a playthrough where my Warden ruled at his side. Slightly disappointed that the game only acknowledges her somewhat royal status a few times and I really expected more of a reaction at the Landsmeet, which I lost for the first time because I didn't bother lying to Anora. Then even after that the Warden is only Princess-Consort and not Queen. 

Besides that, I stuck to my usual preferences of saving Conner, siding with the Elves, electing Bhelen, and saving as many mages as I could. It was also the first time I got full approval with Sten. The Kadan nickname was awesome. Will start Awakening tomorrow. Hoping its Alistair cameo is a little different after romancing and marrying him.

I've been considering starting a new DA:O playthrough and following it into DA2, but my "not this again" problem isn't the Fade (which I actually love), it's Orzammar/the Deep Roads. Political intrigue drives me batty, and the Deep Roads are too bloody long. So as much as I enjoy playing through various other portions of DA:O, I have a great many games stalled just outside the gates of Orzammar . . . Why can't there be a "skip the Deep Roads" mod like there's a "skip the Fade" mod? XD I'd have completed a hell of a lot more playthroughs by now!

@Eilaras, re: Bethany. IMO, the best choice for Bethany is honestly the Circle. She's much happier there than in the Wardens, because what she wants is to be normal - and in the Circle, she is. Some people would disagree with me, but to me it's pretty obvious from the game that she's much more content in the Circle.

On my 16th playthrough (or is it 17 now?), for the first time I annulled the circle and stabbed Jowen in his cell. It didn't bode too well for Connor. I was really surprise at how much content this choice actually gave me. It was like playing a whole new game. Boy does Isodole really put on the performance.

I have 2 DAO playthroughs I need to import into DA2...
Can't we just import DAO into DA3, skipping DA2?

Anyway. I'll probably do another playthrough just weeks before release like I did with ME3.

- Recruit everyone and turn them into Wardens

- Allow Morrigan to continue her plans

Now if I could just complete the mages circle quest, I HATE THE FADE!!!

Am I the only person that loves the Fade section of Origins and detested the Fade section of DA2?
And the same for the Deep Roads too... DA2's were just not surreal and long enough, respectively. At least for me they weren't. And DA2's Deep Roads were just too clean!
If we go back down in DA3 I do so hope they look like they were abandoned for centuries like they did in Origins.

i used all the save slots on the xbox 360 version so I will play again on the ps3 or pc again instead

I've been sitting on my dalish warrior play through for months. I think I'm still at Ostagar. May get to it in a couple months. Really dreading the clunky gameplay more than usual. :/

Really?  I always got the feeling he hated being a warden as well though I think he did enjoy getting away from Hawke.

I didn't even think the dialogue option I took would have her attack me, but having Morrigan in the party there just made her say "**** you, I'm attacking". She died quickly at least. Riposte and backstab...dead.
