Nope. All she gets is...

Paragon: "I'm sorry, Kaidan. Never meant to hurt you" (hides her face in her hands). 

Renegade: "Our fight in Horizon really trew me. You just shut me down" (calmly). 

Renegade -> lie option: "I would never cheat on you" (in this point Kaidan gets angry, tells her she's lying and asks her to leave. 


So basically no matter what Shep says, it's always her fault and that really sucks. BW should have given FemShep the same dialogue options as MaleShep. It's almost like MaleShep can do what ever he wants without blame but if FemShep falls for another guy, then she's an awful cheater and should be ashamed of herself. Talk about freaking equality!!!

I sure don't consider my Shep to be cheating in ME2. Kaidan and her broke up. End of that story.

But come ME3? That "Kaidan I'm...sorry I never meant to hurt you" is followed up with a: "We were...physically far apart."

I uh..I just..What?! I don't recall <Thane/Garrus/Jacob> being just a physical thing. I just..*sigh* why can't Shep just tell Kaidan that Shep left him? Not cheated. Left.

Then there's the "confession" to a romanced Thane re: Kaidan. It basically goes like this:

Thane: Why are you here?

Shepard: I came here to see a friend who got hurt, Kaidan.

(lol wut? Didn't I recieve a message from Thane to meet me at Huerta?)

Thane: The human biotic in intensive care. We have spoken. He was holding out hope that a woman would visit him. Is there something I should know about you two?

*You can either pick the upper-rightt option to re-affirm the relationship with Thane, or the lower-right one, breaking up with Thane*

If the upper-right option is chosen this happens:

Shepard turns around, stares at the floor, and in a shameful tone says this:

Shepard: We were together for a while before the first Normandy was destroyed.

Thane: And grew apart I gather. Your enemies may try to finish him off....(continues like a friend dialogue)


It's really weird that Shepard is ashamed about Kaidan to Thane.

I mean uhm..Thane was 100% upfront about Irikah (And certainly not ashamed of it).
Why is Shepard unable to offer that same courtesy when speaking of her past with Kaidan?
Why is she ashamed at all? :S

As far as im concerned, the VS dumps you on Horizon no matter how nice you are to them.. They even say they moved on.. How do we know that in those 2years Shepard was dead, they didn't meet someone, I mean technically they would of been single.

Would of been nice to walk into the hospital and see Garrus threatening Kaidan lol

I agree. Plus Kaidan even admitted it straight in his letter, that he's been seeing a doctor, no matter how briefly. So, now, who's the actual cheater in here? Then he has the nerve to throw a temper tantrum because Shep moved on and found someone else.
