Spears, whips, halbeards, two bladed swords, double axes, one handed axes, one handed hammers, morning stars, maces, flails and crossbows. Dragon Age 3 needs them or at least a few. Long reach weapons such as spears and halbeards could fall into their own skilltree thus providing more character builds for warriors. Crossbows would be an alternative of the longbow which is slower but more powerful meanwhile one handed hammers would provide blunt damage rather than slashing damage. Neverwinter Nights had all these weapons and they allowed for a bigger array of character builds and were all handled well and balanced.

I mean who wouldn't want to use a two bladed sword again?

Note that the morning star is a spiked mace.

Though it's been so commonly confused with flail that I generally know what people mean when they say it.

On an unrelated note - What happened to all the one handed maces in Dragon Age? I don't remember seeing any in DA2.

They were there.

Anyways, now that the distinction between flails and maces has been established...
