DA:O and DA2 companions and PCs. Even cameos seem to muck up canon or people's headcanon. Their stories are done, leave them alone. Mention what they did in previous games if you must, but don't say stuff like "Gone like the Warden." <_<

Other than that, I'm fine with previous seen NPCs. Not a fan of Cassandra, but the likelihood of her being in D3 is high, so I'm not going to throw a fit about it. If she's a companion, she can keep the fire stoked at camp.
Edit: Or the OGB. I am so tired of the OGB and Morrigan being brought up, mostly because I don't care.
