Tired of joining random lobbies only to find bad players on bad hosts doing bad things?

I'm up for something like this, getting tired of being dumped in FBW/G/G. Only really play gold (would try platinum but can't promise I'd be much help), and I don't have a mic, assume that's not a problem? Don't know about playtimes either, I'm in a bit of an unusual timezone (GMT+12), but hey, it can't hurt to sign up anyway. I'll send a friend request when I go online next.

I checked the chat rooms to see if anyone was there to play with but it was empty most of the time....

Aww come on! Platinum isn't that bad.....beat one on unknown/unknown for the very first time. I just hate Geth Primes.

I seem to have joined because a friend invited me and I said yes without knowing what the chatroom was all about. Not sure why they invited me as I have never UUG in my life. I would however like to stick around and learn the ways of gold as silver is getting a little boring when with a team that are at least competent. To the point where I am getting a little sloppy and complacent. Need a bigger challenge to get my A game back. Squadmates may be in for a little light carrying till I get the hang of it and raise the cash to unlock more weapons/characters. I will mostly bring my HE with Mattock X as that is what I am best at and I shall endeavor not to be a total dead weight.

You got game invites because we use the "invite chatroom" option instead of inviting evryone one by one.

You just need a better manifest to be more effective in gold. Just let us know if u want to join a game when you're in there next time.

The chat room is really a great tool, and you can easily send invites to the chat room instead to individual players. I didn't know about it

I'm on both rooms. Friday and Saturday nights were a lot of fun. But yesterday, for me, it was family time. It was great to play with you guys. Even if i have to be awake until 4AM so i can overlap the playing times with most of you (remember ... I'm at Portugal, GMT time )

I still check the chat room before anything else. I usually get an invite to join a game within the first 30 seconds of turning on the PS3. Xain you and I will connect eventually.

As far as the chat room goes. People attract people. If no ones in the chat room then people will peek in and leave. If you join the chat room and stay a while you will find when people join they may stick around a little longer, thus attracting more people and so forth. I've had trouble keeping people in the room but this is the best I can do.
