Had a light fail run or two today, but overall was pretty successful.
Man, first UUG gave us geth on Rio, we got destroyed midgame. Soooo many primes just map sniping the crap out of us.

I'm a silver player who would like to play more gold matches. I tend to play with a melee Shadow, QFI and sometimes Devastator. Any advice on how I can play better with these characters in gold would be great, with a good team in silver my infiltrator characters tend to survive pretty good.

Only catch is that I live in New Zealand (GMT +12), so may be online when most others are not. I have a mic and my PSN is OtagoRyan.

i know there are several here are either from Australia or NZ. But you probably would suffer from lag. Tons of gold regular here. Most of them would help you improve, as long as you stick to the group.

I don't play any of them, so sorry can't provide any advice on those.

Hm, your manifest still needs some better weapons to play classes effectively.
You're lucky to have a Harrier though and it might just make gold a lot easier too.

Use it on your N7 Destroyer and keep yourself moblie carefully eliminating enemies to your way to the ammo boxes and you'l do gold easily. You could also try the Human Male soldier (non N7) with Harrier, try which ever suits you best.

Thanks for the advice, I'll redo my destroyer with that build, no missile launcher might be the way to go.  Lately I have not have much luck with buying packs, in fact the only ultra rare I've got came in a Victory pack and the last two have been level IV ammo.  I've been trying to get the assault rifle piercing mod by solely buying veteran packs but no luck and those packs have also been giving me rare duplicate character cards so I've been carrying the crusader to take care of guadians and the like b/c cooldown doesn't matter.

I play mostly silver but would like to try more gold matches. I usually play human sentinel, infiltrator or engineer (haven't specced most of my alien chars yet). I think I'm pretty decent on support and tech/bio roles. Played a few gold matches with randoms and was able to hold my own at least until I get mobbed or my team mates get wiped. I would really love to learn the ropes on gold like weapon choices, enemy strategy, team tactics etc.

I'm trying to find peeps to play with on platinum/ gold
I have played many plat games. And survived with only 2 medi gels 2 ops. Packs and 2 missiles
I'm trying to increase these to at least 4 each as clips are at 4
I have a couple good weapons check my manifest I still looking tO get the black widow because I trained myself to use this on sp
Though I'm kinda good with valiant rifle which gives 4 shots with my destroyer
I do like to hang back as sniper / support

Speaking from experience (NZ also) lag's not too bad. It's there, but it's no worse than playing with randoms.

On QFI, I'd recommend speccing sabotage for backfire damage and tech vulnerability. It doesn't show up on the scoreboard, but it does do heaps of damage. Played with an asari adept once, and they were getting stasis kills all over the place thanks to me  . I also go support cloak (4 ranks, duration), full damage stickies (benefit from sabotage's tech vulnerability, at least I think they do, and set off tech bursts), full fitness, and whatever's left in power damage on the passive. Harrier's my weapon of choice. All that's mainly preference though, the important thing's sabotage, which can be an underappreciated power against organics.

We can but due to borderlands 2 all the good players left. quick matches are just filled by nubs and rocket glitchers now.
