LOL, oh yes please. This would be awesome. I like the general idea everyone has where your personality picks your druken behaviour/dialogue. Ahh it would be sooo funny, and awesome. Please Bioware, Include this.

This could be really fun. I think the option to get drunk (including refusing to do so) could really add to the depth of your character (and your character's lack of depth, LOL). So many visions come to mind . . .
ooo, ending up in bed with Varric . . .

Couldn't you get drunk in NWN? your screen would wave your controls did crazy things and you past out, sort of.

I totally support this. I mean the game is rated Mature right? So why not?

We had the options to participate in brothels and Hawke can drink (w/ Shep animation) in the tavern. Warden could drink in Orzammar tavern too...don't see why we couldn't get drunk, only just click on it repeatedly and waste coppers w/o even any attribute changes for drunkenness.

And the brothel cutscenes (at least in DAO, I never used DA2 brothels) are way more Mature than some drinks, I would think

Quite true. "Here hire a prostitute, but don't get drunk! that's bad!" I just hope they don't keep dumbing down the maturity. Comparing the love scenes from origins and DA2, from PG13 to, well, G. It's a bad sign.

b: Must have been pre-patches. The latest (and last) version of NWN only has your character act dizzy for a few seconds, laugh or burp. You also get your intelligence drained slightly. Though there's probably mods made which implement a realistic drunk process again for NWN.

i: Yeah and Oghren was allowed to get drunk in Origins but not The Warden. Even Alistair wanted to get drunk but couldn't because Bioware didn't allow it!

I mean Shepard could get drunk but not The Warden or Hawke. Shepard's off partying all across the galaxy while sad ol' Warden and Hawke are sitting in "The Lost Protagonist's Tavern" without the ability to get drunk. It must be torture for them!
