Seriously though, their DR is way too much when they do that little flip.

Claymore X + AP ammo IV and shotgun rail amp III wrecks everything. With the paladin's Snap Freeze, even more so. Every Cerberus enemy can be sniped with Smart Choke, yet at point-blank range Phantom's lose only 2-3 bars of Barrier and Health.

Even more annoying is the fact that they seem to instantly know when your about to shoot. I'm not sure what the DR is for *Phantom gymnastics* but it's much too high. An atlas is essentially easier to kill than a Phantom at this point... (not in terms of speed)

That's why I always fire a power at her so that she puts her bubble up. Then I can put a few rounds into her head.

They DON'T NEED to flip or use barrier hand. All they have to do is move to gain 80-90% damage reduction. And that is so BS it's not even funny.

Phantoms and Turrets are really all Cerberus has going for them IMHO so its fine. At least to me.

Got gutted earlier today by a phantom that was laying on the ground and shot straight into an insta-kill animation while I was boredly putting a few rounds into the back of her head. Clever girl...

If they nerfed the Phantom, they'd need to buff pretty much everything else on Cerberus.

They're really the only unit that causes issues(or the odd unnoticed Turret).

In my experience it seems as if the bubble gives her DR too. They're like Slayer's in disguise... or maybe it's the other way around....

AP ammo bypasses their bubble somewhat. but yes, their bubbles/palm shield are a little silly

Give Nemesis a better AI, buff Guardian shields so they a harder to punch trough. Cos really - a Phantom eating 4-5 Claymore shots is ridicilous.

Yes, they would be so much easier if they were just a little slower. Not to mention that cheap ass pistol thing they use. I'm in one match and whole team got f***ed because of phantoms.

When in groups Centurions/Troopers are a problem due to them rushing you at times. An Atlas can provide cover fire, and Nemesis strip shields fairly quicky when in a group.

The whole faction as a whole is a threat, but Phantom's are simply ridiculous.

Why Cerberus bothers with reapers, I don't know.
If they just scaled up that hand cannon and put it on a ship, they could one-shot kill Harbinger!

With the paladin's Snap Freeze, even more so.

Meleeing a barrierless pahntom with cryoshield will freeze them through, btw.

A semi charged GPS show goes along way. I strip their barriers followed by a heavy melee. Ali himself would be ****ing proud.

hell if they managed to scale it up while keeping the rate of fire and accuracy they could destroy the entire reaper armada with 1 ship

A lone Marauder or Geth Hunter can easily drop a player quickly and not require groups to do it. Troopers/Centurions, not so much.

The Nemesis would be okay if the rest of Cerberus was more dangerous. She's not a big threat by herself, though as she doesn't fire fast enough to do anything except drop your shields.

Atlas is okay as a walking tank, but it's very easy to predict when it's going to fire and avoid getting hit.

When a a Phantom withstands more than an Atlas it's not a challenge anymore. It's just plain stupid.

Nope. 4-5 shots from maxed out Claymore on a GI is enough to kill an Atlas, but sometimes not enough to drop a Phantom.
