Presuming she survived the events of Origins obviously. I always felt like she got kind of a raw deal in the first game.

Well, there goes my 'as a skeleton' joke.

Hey, anything's possible.

Well, nearly anything.

I'm going to go with no. I do think she was badass enough worthy of a cameo though.

If they did they would probably mess up her face

Yes she should, if only to hear Alix Wilton Regan again. *swoon*

Likely? Meh, I don't know.

She shared in the crimes of Logain. If she, like Leliana, survives the warden beheading her i will make sure she hangs.

She's dead Jim.

Though I would not mind Alix Wilton Regan returning. Her voice is so dreamy.

My Warden chopped her head off because she was delaying him and Alistair on purpose and was ready to fight. If only she talked and didn't act outright hostile. She might have been able to join the Wardens like Loghain did.

She idolized the man who freed her people. She followed him with some objections and eventually will step aside for you to stop Loghain if you attempt to reason with her. She's no worse than Cullen for following bad orders.

Soldiers, man. You gotta trust that chain of command.

I have no strong opinion either way on this. I saw her point of view (which is a good thing). If she has a cameo it'd be nice. A few of my Wardens spared her, others didn't.

I'll say this though. I liked how Loghain had his own little team there: Loghain, Zevran, Howe, and Cathurien. And it's totally possible to kill them all. Look into that again, BioWare. The Arishok, Meredith, and Orsino didn't have people with them at least the Viscount had Bran.

Probably not, I'm afraid. If she does it'll be a very small cameo I suppose.

The most interesting role for Cauthrien would have been as a companion in Awakening. I can't really see the point now.

I guess she is dead in the vast majority of people's games, so I don't think the chance of her returning is very big.

Would have to agree.  I think her time has certainly passed now. Cameo appearance included.  I rather not have her just turn up in DA3 say "hello im not dead" and disappear again just to appease a few people who really want her to return in some form.

I think it's extremely unlikely, given the total percentage of Cauthriens that are likely to be dead. Which is a shame, because I liked her.

(It is my personal headcanon that my Cousland made Cauthrien a Grey Warden instead of executing her for helping Loghain, or letting her back into the Ferelden army which would have been hella awkward.)

likely...no. would I enjoy it? sure. In my playthrough I talked her down, Though a majority of people couldn't talk her down due to a bug in which your Poison skill was used instead of your Master Pursude for some reason I can't even...

Her survival is not one of the variables imported by DA2, so unless DA3 imports both DAO and DA2 she would have to be alive in every playthrough. I'm inclined to believe that the devs didn't feel she was important enough to worry about since her status wasn't imported and therefore I doubt she will reappear in a later game.

No, I want Arl Howe back instead. Don't tell me he died in DAO, he was just taking a long nap and Leliana/Ander survived too!

I forgot she existed.

But then you reminded me of that stupid boss fight with her in which the entire Fereldan army suppressed your group with arrows from the anteroom while she took half of each character's health bar with each swing and never missed. She also had the defensive stats of the High Dragon.

She can stay dead.
