Like the talk about ingame weddings which have no impact on  the overall story, romances shouldn't be given the focus they had previously unless they drastically alter a story.

I'm pretty sure weddings aren't going to be implemented, either.   But, who the heck knows at this point?  We know absolutely nothing.

If weddings are given focus i pray the animations, and dialogue don't drain time or resources away from the main story. If DA sex scenes(not really needed) are to be made, they should follow Liara's ME scene example which was somewhat tasteful. I do agree that nudity for nudity's sake is lame.

No, they're arguing that the Witcher 2 sex scenes were terrible, and that sex scenes in games are terrible.

The implication is that those who like them are operating under a different set of standards for evaluating them, like, "I want boobs.  Boobs good."

Responding with "you're just against boobs!" misses the point.

The classes, romance options, and races are options so everyone can have a more personal experience

They are not obligated to make sure you see pixel boobs and awkward sex scenes however, those are not the same things as what you listed

Unless you think pixel sex and boobs are a more personal experience...

Aye, the romance paths. It's optional. So what's the problem? Those that don't want it don't have to do it. And if it is, just ask for a graphic content setting, like are introduced in quite a few games.

True that. Apart from the legitimate criticism I see from time to time(set main character being subjective, the theme, controls etc.), most people here just see it as "the game where they have sex", and that's about it.

Political intrigue? Branching storyline? Choices and consequences? Wut is that?

That doesn't actually matter.  The scenes are available for viewing in their entirety.  The context isn't relevant if the scene could convey precisely the same narrative details without the sexual content.

I think "mindless porno" is simply a less accurate term that carries with it indefensible implications such as the ones you're getting at.

What I think it really is, is exploitation.

It's not "more detailed" it's the definition of "detailed" people are objecting to, especially if the Witcher 2 is the reference point for said request.

They were still clothed when the deed was done. There should have been well placed angles or sheets instead(Merril wore some bizarre one piece, but still)

This thread is asking for something comparable to Witcher, which is a sexist and male-pandering IP to begin with, and the sex scenes serve no other purpose to enforce Geralt's manliness and to titilate the player.   The sex scenes are awkward at best and I'm sure most people could do without it.   Because they have imaginations.
