Can we please have Ariane from the Witch Hunt DLC as companion in DA3?

I bet if you asked 100 Dragon Age players who that character was only 10-12 would be able to answer correctly so I doubt they would waste resources like that.
How would it be a waste of resources?
Merrill was a character in DAO that only players who played Dalish Elves MIGHT have remembered.

And bring back Finn. Give him a Mabari named Jake.

Ariane would make an incredible companion if they can maintain her existing personality. She was one of the high points of Witch Hunt.
Definitely. I loved her interactions with Rabbit.

They were written to be an excellent comedy duo imo.

Considering that Morrigan's actions were the same regardless of your choice (she goes away) I kinda doubt that.
But either with or without Warden.
I can't help it, but I think it would make a great scene, in case both are a couple with Ariane pregnant, if Finn would pass out dramatically when she gives birth to the baby.

Big difference between a game and a DLC.

That would be a great thing to see! You bring up some good points my friend!

Not really when you consider only so many players played the Dalish Elf Origin and only so many players played Witch Hunt.
Hell, Isabela was completely missable in DAO.
In the end, the writers can bring ANY character back(major or minor) and make it work if they want to.

Ariane and Finn showing up as minor characters would be okay, maybe they could even tell us what Morrigan left outside that mirror. But as full fledge companions? IDK I'd rather have brand new people.
I don't expect them as companions to be honest, though I'd like them to appear all the same.
