Do we want Loghain in DA3? (If he lived of course)

As we all know Loghain really, really, really hates Orliesans. If Orlais is having problems he would be the first to advocate Fereldan taking advantage of the situation. It isn't unreasonable for him to lead a Ferelden army to conquer part of Southern Orlais (after all the damn Orliesans tried it against Ferelden, we ought to give em a taste of their own medicine!)

Personally I loved Loghain, he was my favorite character. I loved him in Stolen Throne and thought his character in DAO further expanded his character, and I would love to see him in DA3.

Well, in DA:A Loghain told my Warden that the Grey Wardens are sending him to Orlais and he didn't seem like he was planning to kill them all.
(Then again, I might have forgotten something about that conversation. I was laughing too hard at the 'You know, I'd like some grand children while I'm still alive. But Anora's horrified look suggests you are not yet at that point?' part.)

In other words: Give me Loghain back. I like that bastard and if he's somewhere in Orlais, I WILL find him.

Loghain never dies! He lives in all playthroughs.

But yes. Preferably, if Orlais is going to invade Ferelden again like much of the nobles there want to do, he will hear this news and flip over a table. Then, he will punch a few Orlesian Chevaliers in the face and ride to Ferelden's defense atop a majestic ebony steed in the midnight rain.

And we shall bask in the awesomeness that is this moment.

I doubt he's in favor of invading Orlais, even with their problems though. Ferelden was actually severely weakened by the Blight, and while Orlais' political problems would bring the playing field to an even footing I doubt he'd actually want to go to war with them, even with the amount of hatred he holds for them.

Oooh, I forgot all about that convo. If Loghain already is in Orlais then yippy! I'll bet his stolen/battle-field loot Chevaliars (sp?) armor would ****** off any Orliesan he met.

As long as Simon comes back to play Loghain I would not object.

hell yea! loghain was a boss. but if they do put him in expect a short cameo at the most. sort of like dragon age 2 did with the original characters. but considering the role the rachni played in me3 and bioware's reasoning for doing so its very unlikely he will play a major part.

Let's see, i let him live although...

i married his daughter to a grey warden

that grey warden happened to be the brother of the king he abandoned

made him a grey warden

sent him to the country he hates the most

and then stripped him of his land and titles taking them for my own.

even after all that, he regards me with as much friendship, respect and admration as he did to Maric.

I screwed his mind goood. i'd like to see how he's doing in DA3:whistle:

So yeah.

Why not?

I mean he's dead in all my games, but I can't see any reason anyone would oppose it.

Loghain is one of the coolest studs there is in Thedas, if he doesn't show up in DA III I will preorder this game, just to cancel it!

Oh the irony if he became the Warden Commander in Orlais! :D

YES! Loghain is by far one of my favourite characters in Thedas. He is the King of Ferelden, he's Tywin without the evil, he's Norris without the hyperbole, he's the most goddamn awesome person to exist. Seriously, SCREW MY WARDEN! I love you, bro, but Loghain's got the right of it.

/fanboy rant over.

Loghain is a great character. He was great in Origins and after I read The Stolen Throne I came to...I don't know if "like" is necessarily the right word, but reading that book really made me sympathize a lot more with the character than I did during my first playthroughs of Origins. So yeah, I wouldn't mind him returning at all.

HELL YEAH! I like our old bad boy, so much. he's like a BOSS indeed.
I really like it that an antagonist is written the way that makes me respect and even like them, like Alexander from Amnesia, I ended up liking that guy so much!
I even liked Meredith to some degree.B)

He's one the only characters from the series I actually liked, so I vote yes.
