Where do you think the protagonist will be from?

I mean, I know plenty of people don't like the idea of an Orlesian accent, but I'm not actually thinking about that.  Personally I'm wondering if Hawke being from Lothering might signal a trend, that being that the protagonist is from a location the previous protagonist visited.

So what would people think about the Inquisitor being from Kirkwall?

Think about it, even if they wanted to reimplement race choice, you've got humans, elves, dwarves, and even immigrated Kossith in that place.

I believe he or she should be an Orlesian. I can't believe they would go with another Fereldean protagonist when we could have just stuck with the Warden in the first place. They'll probably just have most of the Orleasians (95%) speak British like what was done in the Dawn of the Seeker movie.

I'm thinking the protagonist will be an exarch.  We didn't see that used as a title in Ferelden--so that seems to rule Ferelden out.  Where all has that title been been used?  Well, it's associated with Byzantine Empire--so he could be from Tevinter.  There were exarchs in Germany and France as well though, which I imagine correspond to Anderfels and Orlais.  Given that the game is set in Orlais and given that title could indeed be in use in Orlais, I'll guess he's from Orlais.

I'm thinking it might be an character that is part Orlesian and part Fereldan, or has ties to both countries. Like Aveline in DA2... she was born Du Lac, a family from Orlais. Could be cool, gives us a reason for being in Orlais, but still makes it possible for the protagonist to have a fereldan (british) accent.

Riordan's voice would be great.
Anyway, I don't really care what nationality the PC will be. I'll be fine with as long we're not from Ferelden again.

I hope we get to choose. If I get to decide my PC is from Par Vollen, Seheron, or northern Rivain. See what I did there?

Tried and tested Ferelden again?

I would like a bit of a mix-up. An Orlesian accent on my female protagonist would actually be very nice on the ears
