Being able to send your group of four (or whatever) into someone elses inquisitorial home - and conduct espionage, sabotage, or even take overs could be a real hoot.

I'm not against MP as long as it's similar to ME3MP. If it doesn't affect the main game.

To everyone who hasn't heard the news, multiplayer is virtually guaranteed for future Bioware games, including DA3. I would suggest trying to influence its course of development rather than trying to stop it(which would be akin to trying to stop an avalanche with one's bare hands).

Actually it is very very possible for us to stop it the fall out with me3 and da2 made bioware realize that they need listen to us .majority of fans who don't want multiplayer at all.

We actually don't have anything that suggests a majority of anti-multiplayer at this time.
*EDIT
Also this is an EA decision. Attempting to address it at the Bioware level will be far more difficult since you need to persuade Bioware and then Bioware needs to persuade EA.

I really don't understand people threatening to not buy the game simply on the premise that the game has multiplayer. Multiplayer does not equal weaker singleplayer, unless ofcourse your talking about multiplayer being the MAIN FOCUS, which all of these games that bioware is making is clearly based on being story driven and primarily single player based imo (excluding mmos). Anyways, i just think a simple multiplayer addon like how they did bg and nwn would be a nice addition

Whos to say that singleplayer will suffer from any multiplayer at all... Baldurs Gate i thought was an awesome game, and its multiplayer was simply an extension, not a main part. Just the same game, with an option to play with a friend. Nothing changed at all... If they added this type of multiplayer to DA theres like no risk or anything that'd occur for the single player. If your worried about your cinematic exprience, or single player expereince, how would this affect it if its done the BG way. I enjoyed playing BG by myself, and then again sometime with a friend. Both the same game etc. Same happened with nwn...

Resources and recent examples. I understand that there were great SP games with good MP modes in older RPGs, but it's a rare thing now.
Great SP games that have good MP in this gen are... Assassin's Creed? Most games either have good MP and so-so SP (Battlefield, Call of Duty) or good/mediocre SP with a tacked on MP mode that doesn't try anything new (Spec Ops, Dead Space 2, ME3). Then there are games like Borderlands where MP and SP are pretty much the same, just funnier with others.
Anyway, if MP will be confirmed for DA3 I won't preorder/buy it, not matter how the game overall will turn out: it's the only way to make both EA and Bioware understand what I'm interested in.
