I'd love interrupts, the ones in ME2 were EPIC.

That is one of the most horrible ideas to date. Mass Effect already crippled Dragon Age with dialogue wheel, so do not complete Dragon Age transformation into the arcade.Skyance wrote...
Similar to how ME has them? It's been a while since I've played DA, so I apologise in advance if I'm mistaken, but I don't recall anything similar to a paragon/renegade interrupt action in those games. They led to some pretty memorable/highlight reel worthy in ME overall - maybe they'll do the same for DA3?

So break immersion instead? Good solution.... <_<Dhiro wrote...
One of the site members, Sylvius the Mad, suggested a system where the game would pause and we would get a small list of actions after the interrupt button is pressed. I think that's a good way to bring the interrupts without robbing the player of the ability of knowing what their character will do.

How is choosing how your character would act any more immersion breaking than having him or her act in a way you can't foresee and may as well go against your concept for this particular character?

We need a good Renegade/Paragon choice in the romance scenes though. You know what I mean.

Keep DA and ME different.

I would be cool with this!

Forcing a pause during cutscenes and dialogue is breaking immersion.
Picking dialogue choices will force a pause as well. Would you prefer choosing a tone at the character creator and watch the dialogue as pure cinematic instead?

Though if pausing is allowed anyway - as has often been requested - it wouldn't be a bad idea to allow you to mouse over the interrupt icon to get some sort of description of what it does.
