An eloquent title if ever I saw one, no?

So I just subscribed to the Dragon Age 3: Inquisition facebook page, and noticed they had two logo pics, one of which has two rows of silhouettes in white just like DA2. But they appear to be different than DA2's.

DA2 Version:

I dunno about anybody else, but the fourth (or fifth?) one from the left looks like Corypheus to me.

Imagine if this was the cover art too...

I think Inquisition should have an Origins styled cover but at the end of the day it's not that important so long as the game itself is good. On another note, the darkness in the DA3 artwork suggests that maybe DA3 will be darker than DA2.

And now we will all be desperately trying to decide what character these silhouettes are supposed to portray. Like the topic about the DA 3 leaks, just worse.

The silhouettes in the DA2 logo actually portrayed DA2 characters? Where's Varric?

I can't see any characters that are clearly identifiable for DA2 either. Also there's more silhouettes then companion characters.

Which is why I hope no one reads too much into those silhouettes. DA2's logo didn't portray any companions (although I suppose you could make your own conclusion based on imagination) and thus it's likely the same for DA3's logo.

If this is the official logo, I like it.

Yeah, I doubt those silhouettes represent specific characters. They might, but that is a lot of characters, and some of them seem pretty blurry and indistinguishable. It is a nice design though, just the general idea that there are lots of new faces and characters to meet.

I always wonder if all those people are supposed to be specific characters from the games or if they are just random people of no importance. Anyway, I like the silhouette look.

I certainly hope it's darker.

The Silhouettes are all slendermen.

There is no indication that that facebook page is connected to Bioware, or that the silhouette image was made by them. Not that it can't be real, but I'd prefer to see new info and images from official sources.

Well DAO did have the best cover.

DA2's reminds me too much of ME3's cover.

Eh...unless there is more to the logo cutoff at the top, it seems kind of silly to have that whole silhouette design again, since it worked with DA2 as the base of the wings of the dragon, not whatever its trying to look like in that DA3 one. Never mind that its even more silly when its next to impossible to figure out who any of the ones in the DA2 one are, even to this day.

Woman wearing a hood?

Armoured man?

Can't help but see this guy as wearing that sort of gladiator armour that covers your arm

A woman in a robe?

You raise a good point. After reading your post I checked out the facebook page a bit closer. It certainly doesn't look very official. And now that I think about it, it doesn't seem likely that Bioware would use such similar imagery for marketing a new title. Also, the video game college post makes me think it is a scam facebook page, using the popularity of DA3's announcement to generate traffic. Who knows though, it might be real and just a facebook page in early development.

I always assumed that the whited-out people on the DA2 cover were there to illustrate that Hawke is different. There is more to him than the average person.
I never thought it had anything to do with companions or NPCs.

Yeah, if there were a link from the official Dragon Age facebook page, I'd take it more seriously, but there isn't.  The online gaming school thing looks fishy too.
