Didn`t notice the fact that dragons are magical creatures, did you? And they don`t leap twice their size for an ogre kill. They leap a foot or two, using the ogres leg to leap further up. Not really the same as Talis leaping 50 feet backwards through the air, and 20 feet upwards from a stand-still position, is it?

And you seriously belive there is no gravity in Thedas? But a never before mentioned magical force doing the same thing instead?

If magic is an adequate explanation for the existence of dragons, and for a bunch of other things in the Dragon Age universe, then why not this?

Characters can summon animals out of thin air, conjure storms of arrows, paralyze enemies by singing, temporarily clone themselves, or effectively turn invisible, none of which is considered "magic" in the Dragon Age universe. So, obviously, the only possible explanation is that an "ordinary person" in Thedas is not the same thing as an "ordinary person" here.

I don't "believe" anything, because we haven't been told anything. If one of the writers wants to come forward and explain how gravity (or something else, if it is something else) works in Thedas, then I will take that explanation and see where the inconsistencies lie, if there are any.

Not odd that people can leap 70 feet through the air in  Kirkwall, but in Thedas they can only leap 4 feet? If they could leap 70 feet, certain areas in the deep roads would be easier, no? i think you are arguing just for the sake of arguing now.

Well just because Tallis can leap 70 feet doesn't mean anyone else can. It might be an ability specific to her.

And even if it's not, you obviously couldn't do that in the Deep Roads. You'd bump your head.

She lept 50 feet backwards, and 20 upwards. I am sure leaping just 50 foot across a casm would work. Unless the person can`t controll how far he or she jumps...

I love KotOR, the ever first Bioware game i play

The fencing is good, but some movement look funny, the Power Attack make the character jump in somersault in front of enemy. But Force Jump is cool

Critical Hit animation also funny except for double bladed sword/lightsaber

Remember that everything we see in DA2 is Varric's retelling and he is known to exaggerate. Most likely those crazy acrobatics never really happened, Varric was just spicing things up. Also, I thought a lot of it looked cool because I'm playing a game where I can disappear into thin air, stomp the ground hard enough to stun those around me, and oh yeah shoot frakking fireballs around, not a flight sim.

I loved KOTOR, it was one of my all time favorite games and was literally the reason I bought an X-Box, WAY back in the day. I loved pretty much everything about it, and as far as combat goes, it was REALLY cool how it was actually a turn based game that felt like an action game. You got the best of both worlds, it was super-unique at the time, I just loved it. If they could do something innovative like that for DA3, that'd be pretty awesome.

I wouldn't care.
