I know that Dragon Age III was only just recently announced and it may be way too early to be thinking about companions, but I still think it'd be a fun topic to talk about.
So, what kind of companions would you be interested in seeing for DA3? Would you like to see some old companions from previous games, like Varric? Or would you like to see a companion that was part of the games and/or universe but never as a main character, like maybe Cassandra? Or would you like to see a completely new set of characters?
Personally, I would very much like to see more of the Qunari. They have always been a very interesting society that I always wanted to see more of. To have another companion like Sten back in the game would be such a cool thing for me. Plus the Kossith are pretty cool looking, with their horns and such. And he/she wouldn't even have to be a member of the Qunari, he/she could very well be Tal-Vasoth, I wouldn't care.
What do you guys want in the game?

No Cullen, no former companions (aside from maybe Sigrun/Velanna and Tallis), Cassandra Pentaghast, a female Qunari or Tal-Vashoth (kossith only), no male elven mages - unless they don't wear robes and at least 1 new Grey Warden companion.

A character from mysterious society who is on a mission to save her clan but was cursed with demonic possession which turn her into a desire demon. She was a spectre who is capable to communicate with spirits beyond time such as the Arlathan Elven spirits who are trapped in their city below the earth. Thus, allowing her to perceive the world differently than other desire demons. Her past love interest with a human has turn her into a bitter character who doesn't trust anyone particular male protaganist, but she would die for her love once she could learn to trust.Zarkovagis9 wrote...

Bah.. I'm not writing fan fiction. Even if I could write, I doubt BioWare would even read it.
Any character who is not naive, extremist mages or templars and doesn't constantly whinning about their personal belief would do just fine as long as such character is properly introduced and fully exposed in depth.
