Don't want to sound to harsh, but then go ahead and play CoD (no I am not hating on that game) or any other multiplayer shooter out there, there are enough of them. Lore is one of the things that seperates Games like Mass Effect 3 from your random miltary shooter. There I said it.
I suppose you're right, I just want something new in multiplayer to make it more interesting.
A volus would be interesting if they find a way to give him some kind of mech suit (like the Destroyer). Protheans not so much, unless BW find a way to put them in the single player lore demands they don't appear in the MP.

Made the improtant part red. Although auxiliary troops were historically sometimes used as "regular" troops, most of the time they are not really the frontline Soldiers, but are more in a support role, providing supplies etc. I think that is the way it is meant here.Royvios wrote...

Adding Volus as playable characters in multipalyer would be a complete deathblow to the lore and would actually take away quite a bit of enjoyment from the game for me. I actually care a lot about the lore and it is very improtant to me, that the multiplayer navigates within the confines of it.Yeah sure, but due to their physical limitations they are not capable to fight, at least not in a way that would make any kind of sense within the multiplayer mode of Mass Effect 3.waltervolpatto wrote...
May be you're right, however, if your world fall apart and nobody is
there to help you, don't you think that even the Volus will fight for
their homeland?

The volus are not
physically cut out for combat, be it a full-scale war or even a bar room
scuffle. As such, they are highly dependent on the turians for defense, although the volus themselves do provide some auxiliary troops to the Hierarchy. The volus will support the turians in any war they might pursue, and the turians will do the same for the volus. "

Highlighted and bolded my point. It might not be such a lore-breaking concept.

I do understand your point, and I by no means mean to come off as argumentative, but I do believe it is plausible that it wouldn't be lore breaking of some Volus auxiliary troops did see combat versus the Reaper invasion. Even if that number of Volus is very miniscule the amount of them doesn't really concern me, just that it's possible that there were units that fought at some point.

Oh Biotic God, your faithful servants need clarification. If it is time (but not for Retaliation), was this wisdom posted in this forum only to tease us? Surely, if new weapons and powers will soon be available for SP, our multiplayer brethren would not benefit from these, correct?
Or is there more we don't know?

I'm all for roleplay, but these self-referencing jokes 'are' getting a bit much. Either you've got content or you don't. Hype alone isn't much to go on, and just gets people riled up and then disappointedjust as quickly.
