at this point, couldn't they make another lore, and a totally new RPG (ehm...) series, if they don't want to respect the spirit of the first game?

You do realise they said it has taken them two years so far on da3 and they are thinking of selling it to us next year?
The origin stories are nice and all, but they take to long to make and the devs don't have a whole lot of time
for all we know they may have already put origins in it:)

But is not from DA2 that people say they wanted Origins and playable races? Than maybe are they that made a mistake by not wanting to put them.

So true:D

I was fine w/o the specialized origins in KoTOR, JE, BG, PST, FO, TW2, TES pick one and really almost every other game so forth to have a good time so if they are there, lovely, if not so what?

just saying... wouldn't that just be a bit boring? <_< i mean like i've said we would'nt want another carver or bethany death so early in the game situation. and no one shed a tear because they didn't KNOW them long enough. the ME background is an ok compromise... but it should saty with ME i think i mean it just isn't a dragon age thing you know?Dave of Canada wrote...
I'd be happy with ME backrounds, add fluff but the character remains pretty much the same.

Well the dragon age team decided copying ME in just about every way was how they were going to go forward, obviously, no playable races. Though i would love it if i was wrong.
What do you mean?

Maybe something unique like a lay sister/brother in the chantry,or you training to be a templar or to be a chanter and suddenly the chantry gets burned(by my PC hopefully) then the seekers save you but you must become an inqusitor to pay them back for saving you.

your men are slain and you have to run deeper into the deep roads (lol) you see no sign of life in the thaig you enter. there is no real light. just lamps and a torch you discovered earlier. you wander in deeper, feeling the shadows's eyes on your back. suddenly you see a pedestal holding some kind of locket. it whispers (like a horcrux!) and you touch it. immediately your mind is swimming in images not your own. an old woman saying farewell to her daughter, morrigan...
suddenly there is a voice of an old woman: 'you are the one... the one destined to fend away the darkness. to lead men and women to their freedom!' then the amulet shakes and bursts open. Flemeth jumps out and looks around. 'Crude place for a baby!' she says with a laugh. 'Are you the one who activated my amulet? we thank you... i am now closer to finding my stupid daughter and her old god baby. i have reason t believe they are here. you however are better then this: finding old thaigs and treasures! go to the surface and find and seek the ones they call hawke... and the hero of ferelden' and with that she disappears.
Love it

But if not, then I support a version of the ME history system. Preferably with several different options and more in-game reactivity.
I'll buy all the BioWare devs kittens if they give us race options! Please, BioWare?
