Something I always took note of is how characters like Isabela and Fenris, though you can get rid of them, cannot technicaly die. We've seen Leliana brought back, even if she was dead, and I feel the writers wouldn't have done that JUST so she'd have a cameo regardless of DAO death in DA2.
What characters do you think will come back? Do you think they'll play a large or meaningful role? Who would you like to see come back, and in what manner?
I think we might be seeing at least one DA2 party member coming back, perhaps recruited because of their relationship (be it friendship/rivalry/romantic) with and knowledge of Hawke. An interesting thing they could do, because of save imports, is have the way they talk about Hawke be based on your Hawke's actions toward that character and what kind of relationship they had. It would be interesting to hear what a Fenris who was given back to Denarius would have to say about Hawke. Imagine what a friendship/romanced Isabela who was surprised/betrayed by a Hawke selling her out to the Arishok would have to say.

Actually, you can kill Fenris at the Gallows.

Pretty sure Leliana will be in DA3. I didn't really note anyone else who is guaranteed to come back in DA3, although Morrigan and Flemeth will undoubtedly show up in future DA games(though we have no idea if they'll be in 3).

I'd like to see Morrigan, Zevran, Wynne, Fenris, Anders, Merril, Isabela, Bethany and Carver again.
If you give Fenris to Danarius, they take out his memory, so I don't think he'd have much to say about Hawke. Cassandra will probably come back, but I'm not happy about that.

Flemeth, so I can kill her again, since she cheated in DA2 and I never got a chance to kill her while during the amulet quest.
And maybe Morrigan, even those I gut stabbed her and Lelilana, even though I decapitated her.

I think that's a reason for them not to appear. I don't like it when characters are overused, when they can make cameos of characters that appeared less. But I will be happy to see them again. Except for Varric, I was never a fan of Varric.Ausstig wrote...

I hope Sebastian comes back, mostly because his voice actor did such a great job...plus i dont think he can die, which helps....im skeptical that they would give someone a big role if there is a chance they might of died - the "stand ins" in ME3 were not ideal, not that i can think of a better way of doing that bar having two established characters possibly having that role...but even then its the cost of 2 character for a single role. There was a reason Bethany/Carver and Ashley/Kaiden were taken out of a chunk of there games.
