Pretty sure I didn't spell it right, sorry :pinched:  Anyway what's her deal?  She's yellow con but she never says anything to me.  What quest is she for?

No questline.

She's the daughter of the elven handmaiden you meet in the Human Noble Origin. Based on what happens in that origin, I had hoped you could talk with her, but unfortunately you can't.

Yeah, that bummed me out, too. She must be wondering what happened to her mother. It would have been nice to be able to take her to someone who could care for her, a childless person like the paladin in the graveyard in BG2, or at worst, the chantry.

Yeah, I can't figure out why they bothered to put her there, if they weren't going to let us actually talk to her. There are four random dialogue lines that can play when you try to interact with her, it's a shame they didn't turn those four lines into an opportunity to help her in some way.

Ah OK, thanks all :) It's always those little things that sort of make me crazy, like I must have missed something hehe

I have started pickpocketing every yellow character. She had an injury kit I think.

...........

There are places in hell specially created for people like you....

I mean, that could have been a family heirloom from her mother! Passed on through the generations! You evil, puppy kicking kitten burning candy-from-orphan-baby stealing fiend!

I was kicking myself for the whole day because there was no option to adopt her. I mean, her bloody mother died because of me, it would be the least I could do to help.

In the City Elf origin, you'll run into her early on playing with a little elf boy. They're pretending to be famous humans, but you can chat with them and get them to pretend to be a famous elf adventurer (who your character invents on the spot). They run off happily.

Then you come back to the alienage with its slavery and plague, and she's sitting there moping. Click on her, and she'll say "I have no one to play with".

Good old Bioware script writers with the obligatory emotional kick in the stomach....

Same.
With Highever empty, my HFN would love to adopt a number of children orphaned through recent events. And a girl who's mother died during that massacre... it's the least we could do.

Even though, my char didn't feel any more responsible than she felt for any of the other deaths, as she spend the night alone.

What exactly would my Cousland character say?

"Hey kid, bad news. Your mom puts out for humans at the drop of a hat and well, let's just say, she's a little too eager to open the door to shouting voices when she's dressed in her underwear. Here's a sovereign, buy yourself a new shack."

We now know what posters are truly truly cold.

Have y'all been giving Morrigan lessons on being blunt and callous?

I was rather sad my human noble warden couldn't do anything for her. I adored Iona and I would have loved making sure her daughter was taken care of.

It was just another frustrating part of my orgin story I couldn't follow up on.

Yea I didn't even know who she was on my first HN playthrough though I saw her and wondered about her cause I never found Iona and Dairren till recently. Now she just makes me cry thinking of that poor thing waiting (whats it been ? 2 years? since Highever was taken by Howe?) You would think SOMEONE would have told the child what happened after all that time?

The only indication of timeline I have seen so far is when Wynne mentions that Jowan business at the circle to your PC mage and says it was about a year ago I think?

We should in any way possible try to force Bioware to make a Patch where they add the opportunity  to help Amethyne in some way, like:

Give to the Chantry
Help her to someone who might be able to care for her (like....the Dalish!...Cuz...Well..Tha chantry sucks.. -.-)
Or Adopt her

(It would be nice if you could do them all even if you wherent a Human noble, i mean if a child tells you her mom´s been gone for MONTHS too long then she said she would, and you know an army of Darkspawn is having a party in that specific area, well, then most people would understand her mother is dead...even Oghren would understand that, and he´s drunk 24/7!)

just an idé..i dont actully think Bioware has enough heart to actully do this but still..
