I have my own wishlist about "big things" like combat mechanics, environments, characters, plot, etc. but there were a few things not in DA2 that were in DAO that I missed (but maybe no one else did), or stuff in DA2 I liked but I think needing tweaking:
1. List of previous dialogues - In DAO, you could re-read an old conversation (up to 20 past ones, I think). I guess no one used it, but I really missed it since I have some neurological hearing issues that captions during cutscenes don't fix.
2. Maps - I didn't like that going to the same location meant the map was still "invisible" even when the area didn't change (i.e. Sundermount or Wounded Coast).
3. Drag and destroy inventory - I missed that when you looted something in DAO, you could drag to destroy some trash item (like elfroot) and pick up the item you wanted (a poutice) so it wouldn't still "shimmer". In DA2, I had to pick up the junk item as well, then erase it from inventory, so it added an extra step when I needed to conserve space (since backpack count went down to 100 in exchange for storage chest). Storage chest also had "stash junk" option but not "retrieve junk" option.
4. Mage combat - I liked the "hitting enemies with staff" instead of "poking them" and I like the AoE redesign of some spells (like cone of cold) but the ballerina twirl thing was kind of irritating, especially that "swing stave across back in marvel of flexibilty and implausibility"
5. No more sashaying - Isabela can sashay. Hawke could be a sashayer if you play her as a flirty type. Merrill looked weird, since it did not fit with personality. Aveline should never sashay. Ever.
Little Things that you want back/ added?

Yes to number 1.
But as long as I have a stupidly high camera like DAO, slower animations in comabt and less exploding things. I'll probably be pretty content.
Although bonus points for a less washed out colour palette and greater dialogue choices.
