One thing I really liked about DA:O was being able to wear the Helm of the Deep promo-DLC as a mage. No strength requirement, decent stats, and was a boss Dwarven helmet instead of a goofy mage toque. Used it all through Origins - the only reason I stopped was because Awakening didn't import DLC items.
