People who farms should really be ashamed.....its a goddamn game. You're creating more work over a game. I play this game for fun, not to endlessly farm one map on one enemy for creds. No offense to those who farm there.
Its very rare to find people playing a decent game of unknown gold nowadays. Especially on PS3

All right. I am ashamed then. But I know how to tackle geth so I guess its worth it...

And its not the people, but the retarded unlock system.

I hear the next weekend op is going to be:
Squad Goal: Full extraction on Firebase Condor, Goddess or Reactor on Gold against Geth using an all Drell Vanguard or Batarian Sentinel team. No consumables.

Allied Goal: Hit Geth Pyros with warp 5 times.

Special Conditions: All objective requirements doubled.

It's going to be called Operation Deal With It.

I have to say, without any intention of trolling: Anyone complaining about the geth has obviously not farmed White enough. The solution is evident.

If an exploit is the key to facing a faction I would suggest that supports there being a problem with the faction.

They need to give the Geth grenades and a sync kill and remove the cheapness (ultrafast rocket firing, stunlocks, crazy accuracy).

Agreed OP, I hate fighting geth too. They just don't play by the rules, and things in a video game must play by the rules to maintain the "game" part. The only "properly functioning" geth unit is the standard Trooper, every other unit has bugs or has been buffed all to hell (3 Primes = how many prime turrets? Geez).

I wish Bioware showed some level of acknowledgement that they've completely messed up one of their enemy factions in their attempts to stop farmers, but I guess admitting to mistakes isn't their strongest trait.

Never enough of Geth rant.

They are horrible enemies. They swarm you, stunlock you, all units melee you to death, they are horribly buggy, out-of-fu**ing-nowhere Geth Turret is the final boss of ME3, 3 Primes hurt A LOT, maps like London and Reactor are nearly unplayable vs Geth, they shoot you while staggered.

Geth were ridiculously easy when the game came out, but thanks to people farming White (which didn't change at all), one of factions is broken by brilliant balance changes.

I believe that if Bioware threw out all the fbwgg matches that they have data that would say you are wrong ( assuming talking about Gold level ).

I believe those matches are the reason the Geth are as hard as they are now. With how they used to be, it became pitifully easy to mop the floor with them in FBWGG. While their AI hasn't really improved, their lethality sure has, and they've gone from being pitifully easy to just plain easy.

I don't like it and I don't agree with it, but at least I understand why it's done.

One time I was in a rio/geth/gold group and we got pizzas on wave 10.  All the way across the zone.  Had a great group, we used all our expendables and still didn't even come close.  I'm not convinced that goal was possible.

I heard Geth were supposed to be equipped with removable/disposable hardware. Why not nerf the Geth (such as stagger chance) and have the Geth pyros able to lob their tanks like grenades (but they do 1.5x the damage of normal grenades and put a flame effect on you that causes you to gradually lose health like the Banshee's warp but takes twice as long as a normal grenade to detonate) and .....and.......I can't think of anything else. The only problem I have with the geth is their 100% guaranteed chance of stagger. :crying:

l2takecover you noob. But really you're the last person I'd imagine complaining about geth. The first game I played with you you died a lot less than my human infil, made me suspect if "that guy" is cheating or something, how can he still be standing against cheap geth attack as a human soldier :o

This also reminds me of something my dad told us about video games when we were kids: If you use cheat codes (or exploits), you pretty much cheat yourself of the fun.

Sure. Fire Base White is probably the most efficient credit farming method but you might as well log into an empty game and watch a loop of an asari striper and it would be time better spend.

I think you guys have been hanging out with Quarians too long. I don't seem to have problems with them (hell, I even play them with my reaving, double-bubble justicar). Its like any other faction on higher difficulties, if your team isn't coordinated then naturally you're going to get crowded by pyros and hunters.

EDIT: And yeah, I play them on maps other thank mother fruitcaging firebase white! (I want there to be a filter option where I can just join any game BUT that!)

My Krogaurd laughs in the face of two primes simultaneously on Gold. Although I do agree that out of the 3 factions they tend to be the cheapest overall. Banshees are still the cheapest individual enemies in the game in my opinion.

Banshees can be cheap, but they got nothing on phantoms.  Thing is, the other two factions have one cheap unit.  Geth have one unit that ISN'T cheap, the standard trooper.

Exploit my a**. I do it on every single map, with friends and with randoms. Come and watch me do it and be smart afterwards.

The geth require a different attitude than the rest. They are more tedious than the other factions, but that is because you need to constantly pay attention to what goes on everywhere. One mistake and it will almost certainly cost you at least a survival pack.

1. You seriously have to be watching out for hunters all the time. They are the priority targets.
2. Second is rocket troopers
3. Then pyros who are slow as hell and can (should) be taken out froma a distance.
4. Keeping distance when facing the geth is paramount. If they geth close to you, you are screwed. I would be as well, but I don't let them close.
5. Turrets always appear in the same few spots on the map. There is no variation. ALWAYS IN THE SAME FEW SPOTS. One single shot is enough to get rid of them. When they appear, the become the priority targets over anything else. Move away from their line of fire asap so to be able to concentrate on what is coming at you.
6. Engage primes from behind cover (obstacles, counters, corners, whatever you can hide behind) exclusively. Not doing so gets you downed.
7. Point one, so on and so forth until extraction

Many people complaining about the geth are much better at this game then I am... I seriously don't get this entire issue...

"They are a horrible enemy..." Isn't that ffs the WHOLE POINT IN AN ENEMY?

Oh so true. Its scary how at the mercy of glitches, bugs, poor programming, and the ever present posibility of lag one really is while playing multiplayer on ME3. Fun as hell, just can get really aggravating no matter what map, difficulty, class, enemy, team, etc.

I agree with most of these, but I'd like to add one more: STRAFING. It's pretty amazing how much you can avoid by zigzagging. You should NEVER run directly towards or away from the Geth....you wll be stunned and destroyed. The only exceptions to this rule are classes with stun resistance or Tactical Cloak.

I find Geth to be quite variable IMO. All of their units (save the Prime) are man-sized, which means headshots + Geth shield pulse are effective on a lot of targets. On the other hand, we've all experienced turret spamming and stunlock. There's been moments where it's all going perfectly fine.....until everything goes to s**t two seconds later.
