Don't tone down. Tone up! Trim those thigh's and get that gut back in shape! Unless you like a PC who has more to love.

Maybe we should ask BW to allow us to have control over body size as well. It'll be interesting to see who goes for the Big Boned Warden/Champion when the playthroughs get posted on youtube.

I want a flat-chested female PC, and a skinny guy male MC, just 'cause I'll be given that option.

Hell yes.  That was one thing I wished throughout all of the Mass Effect series is a skinny male MC.  I hated that my guy looked like a linebacker.

That's one reason I loved Dragon's Dogma; I customized my main character so that he was as skinny as a stick.  He was a rogue character who dual-wielded knives.  I was more happy with that character design than I think I have ever been in any game that allows character customization.  Man, I loved that character.

It would require armour that was capable of molding itself to different body design's. Not easy to do, But once it's cracked BW would have a model to do it in other games.

With a limited number of body options, making morphs to clothing is usually a few minutes per outfit, especially considering there are ways to automate the process too. Anyway, on topic..

Anyway, make relationships more complex and not the "I helped you get this and that, please make out with me!?". They felt a little too cheap and creepy at times. I get it, Isabela was easygoing, Morrigan really wanted a baby and so on.. a little backstory goes a long way towards that. Perhaps the PC and (some of his/her) companions have known eachother for alot longer this time. I am pretty sure this can be accomplished without making romances the focus of the game and diminishing the actual story.

So I guess in a certain way I agree with the OP, except I think making the companions' and PC's backstory more interesting and perhaps intertwined might result in the romances actually being less dominant and sleezy.

Amen to this OP.

Have 2, 3 romances at max. We don't need to cater to everyone's specific preference. If BG2 was made today, people would whine endlessly about wanting to marry Mazzy, Drizzt, Edwin and Boo.

That's didn't happy back in the 90s. People accepted what they got instead of these pointless crusades to get in the pants of their favorite character. I blame 3D, it made RPG games into some sort of date-sim.

There's a mod for Baldur's Gate 2 that let's you marry Edwin. I think there are romance mods for several of the other male companions and just about every female companion, plus mods that bring back Baldur's Gate 1 companions and let you (of course,) romance them.

Catering to the demographic that made and plays these mods is how these games got to the uncomfortable place they are today.

"Back in my day we took what they gave us and we liked it! You young whippersnappers get off my lawn."

That's bull. People played games despite the limited choices, not because of them.

The only thing I ask for a DA:3 game is option equality. It seemed like DA:O didn't have enough options for the ladies and seemed like DA2 didn't have enough options for men.

Have equal opportunities with multiple personalities. We're trying to save the world here. We don't have time to be worried about offending a whiny love interest. If you want to have whiny, emo men, fine, whatever floats your boat. But have an equal number of men who are confident in themselves and just go with the flow, that don't get upset if you don't attend to their every need.

Same thing with girls. Timid, meek types? OK. ****s? OK. But have strong, self-confident types as well to balance them out. I don't want to be stuck with a widow, a meek elf and a pirate **** to choose from.

With the number of party members in each game, it's not unheard of to have multiple personality types balanced.

I'd like to see more innovation same romance thing all over again is boring and so predictable. Just for once I'd like to see something totally different. I really hope that they don't make every character as romance candidates, that's not even remotely interesting.

Don't turn them down. If anything, I say turn UP the heat. If they can't do that then just leave them alone.

I just want them well-written and compelling.

If they're turned up, so be it or vice versa. But I do love Bioware romances.

What if we only talked about character interaction? What? It's an important part of the game.

Is character interaction code word for pixelated sex? Because if not, these are two totally different discussions.

That doesn't mean the BSNers screaming for more romance won't request some necrophilia.

You know, the romances actually aren't significant by any means in Bioware games. Just a few interchangeable lines and short extra scenes. The fanbase (well, BSN anyway) makes them out to be way more than they really are.

It's annoying to see, but whatever. It's only a fraction of what's wrong with this community. Besides, an internet forum and it's not like you have to look at these threads, unless you're that determined to waste your time.

Always a good plan. You emotional delusions will only diminish your ability to think clearly and accomplish missions.
