So, I really love catfights that make two or three LIs fighting over the protagonist (like the Ashley&Liara or Kaidan&Liara) I really missed this in DA2, you could simply dump them for another LI and they're totally okay with it and they don't confront you or your LI.
I even loved those jealousy confrontations in DA:O, I really had a lot of fun with this.
So, what do you think?

I agree completely. The dialogues between various companions in DAO were wonderful. Of course the dialogues between Isabela and Aveline were also good. The problem was there weren't enough of them. Romance adds just a bit more to the stakes in the conversation. The three way split is a dramatic staple for very good reasons.

I like such banter and possible confrontations. It makes the romance choise seem more real when others comment on it or show jealousy.

I loved the comment that Fenris made to Varric concerning my relationship with him when he asked who swept who off their feet and Fenris (totally deadpan) said that he would tell him one thing that there was no actually sweeping done. Also when Merrill tells him he looks at me with puppy dog eyes.

Are you talking about DA2 because...haha if you dump Anders to get with Fenris, he has many many many things to say to both of you. If you do the opposite and dump Fenris of Anders, he has some banter with Anders about it.
If you dump Isabela for Merrill, she threatens to kill you break Merrills heart.
Really Anders gets on your LI even if you've NEVER romanced him.

Because the women will see you as the douchehole you really are and if they have any self respect would dump your ass.

Why? Granted, I'm not the most experienced in these kinds of things, but is there some rule that says I can't love two people? Honest question.

I agree.

I just did a DA2 playthough where I romanced every companion, and outside of the occasional party banter (which you only got if you had the right combination of people in your party - which I often time just had to force myself to walk around with the worst combination for a party just to hear the banter), only once did one of the love interests ask me about another one (Anders about Fenris, right before I slept with him).

Not only that, but all through act 2 and 3, Merrill would tease Fenris for looking at me with puppies eyes, even though I had just broken both their hearts!

Anders: Why is it any of your business?
Fenris: Be good to her. Break her heart and I will kill you.

The only, THE ONLY, reason to ever choose Anders over Fenris is to get this line of banter. ;_;

I don't think I'm too high on verbal spats between love interests. Maybe the occasional catty back and forth, but nothing too confrontational.

Unless its part of their character, that is.
