Hey Everyone,
I contacted EA help and they were useless. Here's my problem:
I'm running Windows 7 and I can't get DA2 to activate. When I try loading the game, it runs a Release Date Authenticator and freezes saying I don't have sufficient access and to try running under an admin account. I tried that, (opened the command prompt and activated the admin account and everything) and I tried turning off my firewall, and I tried turning off my antivirus, router firewall, etc. and it still doesn't work. I'm not sure what else to do.
Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a workaround for this? DA2 ran just fine on my old computer.

The previous answer deleted; Problem is a Windows 7 issue, not a game issue that needs to be hacked to work...

Additional information: I have just installed DA II without any issue at all. As soon as installalled ran the update and downloaded all content I have either purchased or was provided (including DLC); no problems there.
Launched game: started as normal without issue.
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate.
No problems at startup. Game started normally without issue.
My game did run the release date authentication without issue.
So now the question is, are you trying to load the game under your forum account, or did you try a different account that is not registered?
At any rate, try reseting the shortcut and the programr to run as admin.

Selene,
I've done all of that. I don't even have a chance to load the game's first screen and login with a forum id or any of that business, because the game files are still encrypted by the authenticator. I'm installing it from the CD that I purchased and which worked fine on my old computer. The CD Key I'm using, if that's what you mean by forum account, is printed on the book in the CD case.
The game will not let me run an update because the files are still encrypted.
I don't have Windows 7 ultimate. I just have Windows 7 Home Premium. I've tried activating admin in a command prompt, and it still didn't give me access. There's no firewall blocking it either.
I'm not sure what you mean by resetting the shortcut; I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, even while logged in under the enabled admin account profile.
