As I still don't have this in MP yet, does Smart Choke actually do anything, given that it fires a single slug? I'm not talking about the delay issue, just whether SC actually improves the spread or not.

Even if it does just a little I'd be happy, I want an excuse to make it black, like the rest of my N7 guns Posted Image

Why not just fix the gun? Add a little more variety in the ME3 multiplayer. You can start by making it alot more easier to get.....

well that explains things, i notice sometimes that i still hit enemies despite my aim being a bit off, its still my go to weapon for my vorcha.

It doesn't, since its accuracy is perfect.

Crusader is insane on a Destroyer. You get 5 or 6 shots depending on the DM, fires as fast as a Scimitar, and guarantee headshot kills on any non-shielded enemies in Gold. It's 50cm innate piercing is epic as it means you can just put on barrel and spare ammo. It's tiring to use, obviously, but very rewarding.

Hi. I just did some checks, I recorded myself moving the crosshair along a path and firing the weapon. The path was fairly irrelevant. I recorded at 30FPS. My poor computer won't handly too much higher. But I can say for definite that, graphically at least, the time difference between the click and the shot is between 0.1 and 0.13 seconds.

The reference that I used was that I counted the time from when the ammo count dropped, to when the muzzle flash occurred. (I couldn't see if there was an impact graphic at that point due to the muzzle flash and the short range that I had used. )

So it went like this.
Ammo count dropped between the frames at times 4.567 and 4.600 seconds.
Muzzle flash at between 4.667 and 4.7.

However, there are a few things going on here. There is a 0.1 to 0.13 second delay between click and contact. But the aim is taken at separate time. This was consistent for a number of shots against a wall.

However, when shooting some troopers the time delay between the ammo count changing and a troopers head exploding was between at a between 0.067 and 0.1 seconds.

Somewhere in the middle of that, the direction for the shot is taken by the computer. I think it's very early on, probably the 0.02 seconds after the click that Chris gave.

If you are thinking about changing that value, you better not ever play multiplayer again afterwards.  That kind of stuff will get you banned.

I'll have to check it out.

I never saw this problem,but the last time I really used it was several months ago when the enemies were less mobile, and didn't scurry as much.

I've always treated the Crusader like a scopeless sniper rifle (like a certain elephant gun from a certain competitor action RPG), so I never had issues with it when I'm on top of my game, but when I start slacking off and my accuracy starts flagging, my effectiveness drops dramatically. Other than the weight, though, I tend to prefer the Crusader to some snipers and it's quite the thrill to use it effectively on the battlefield.

If I managed to fix this in the coalesced and then tried to jump on to MP, THAT particular little tweak would be the LEAST of my problems as I tweak my own game experience

It's the button that pauses the action and lets you aim .18 seconds ahead of moving targets.

it could simply be an issue with your PC, since i am not having that kind of difficulty on or off host, also, were you using the choke mod or not? i allways slap it on for perfect PP accuracy.

It's probably a compounding of both off-host lag and the implemented (and questionable) delay that makes it so quirky to use.

I kinda like it, but the damage is kinda meh for its weight IMO, and I never seem to hit my targets with the damn thing off-host.

use it on talon engi, melee then right as he shots his bow hold fire til he fires the gun, repeat. dat auto aim
