N7 500? What are you, ****ing stupid? N7 20 is the minimum. I've seen an N7 20 rock a UR and topscore a match on Gold. My freakin winning streak got ruined by that guy. I think all he plays is soldier >.>

I say a class level minimum, rather than an n7 minimum. Can't count how many n7 1-10s I've seen trying to host platinum.
It wastes time though. On bad days it can take me 5 min. to get into a lobby, only to see a lv1 host. would be different if migration didn't take so long as well.Yoshiyuki Ly wrote...

I'd say the player base is good at moderating this on its own. A low class level usually means instant kick on anything below gold.
double those and you may be onto something.DullahansXMark wrote...
WRONG. Here's what I think the requirements should be:
To play Bronze, you require: N7 50 or higher.
To play Silver, you require: N7 6000 or higher.
To play Gold, you require: N7 80,000 or higher.
To play Platinum, you require: N7 1,257,000 or higher.
Actually, we can tell you what you can't do. it's called the kick button.hostaman wrote...

I finished 3rd in a recent Gold match, and didn't need reviving once.
My N7 is around 180.
If your plan was in effect I think many players would have left ME a long time ago after realising that they would never even reach Silver!

I am getting burnt out and frustrated from playing with under-skilled and under-equiped players, particularly new-comers, on platinum difficulty. I waste hard to get equipment and precious free time while they mooch off me and other adept players. A successful platinum mission requires four skilled and well equiped players, or three skilled players and one new-comer willing to take direction and advice... most aren't. I can only kick so many of them!
I propose limiting platinum difficulty missions to those who have an N7 rank of 500 or higher, or to those who are invited to join a game. If you have an N7 rank of 499 or less you cannot create a platinum match nor join one through quick match. They need to learn how to play the game, level up and unlock equipment on easier levels before they can play the highest difficulty. This will prevent the more skilled players from becoming frustrated with them, and prevent new-comers from thinking ME3 multiplayer is full of jerks. This will also reduce cheating via the missle glitch, as it is usually new-comers that do it to exploit the high credit payouts and experience from platinum missions. Lastly, having the highest difficulty being something that has to be unlocked will add an inviting challenge to the game and likely increase the number of players... but probably not at first.
Thanks for you time, BioWare staff!
If you come into a platinum lobby with a level 9 novaguard with a claymoreI and widowI with no equipment, the only prooving you'll be doing is your incompetency level and your poor judgement/lack of common sense.hostaman wrote...

I propose a new button to go along with the "kick" button, called the "up yours" button.
