Sooooooooooo many d-bags here.
I've played with some amazingly good low-N7 rating players, and played with many more completely horrible and whiny high-N7 players. Some friends of mine played a bunch of matches with some of the fellas on the top of the leaderboard for the Xbox, and it seems that a lot of them are just blowhards with big egos who just play a lot.

I've seen plenty of you squirm back to silver and bronze. Silly, silly elitists!

Not going to happen OP, so don't get your hopes up.

I have played with players that had N7 well above 8000 - and at N7 540 I didn't break a sweat beating him. I was playing a N7Fury and he was a Geth infiltrator - go figure.

On the other hand I played with an N7 80 level 1Turian sentinel on gold who was using the new Argus rifle and he beat the other level 20 players in that match.

The best fix would be to firstly change the initial Quick Play search to just look for bronze matches, an awful lot of brand new players first experience of ME3 mp is being kicked because they've ended up in plat or gold lobbies without any idea.

I also wouldn't be against a simple level requirement for gold & plat matches, it's so quick and fast to level up from 0-20 there really isn't any need for people to take their level 14 into gold or plat just to level up that much faster. Platinum should be for level 20 only, that way nobody enters the lobby looking like they might need carrying. Of course I do understand that someone with rank X UR weapons will possibly be fine with a level 1 soldier anyway and yes I have been beaten by lower level characters in platinum. However just as often I've been in matches with 1, 2 or even 3 character under 20 and they've been dying as soon as anything looks at them.

I'm not saying it needs it, but I don't think it would be a bad thing. N7 rank is difficult, it's more just a mark of how much you've levelled and promoted.

Um, then why does Platinum give experience at all..?
