I just want to kill her.
Why? She's proven to be quite the benefactor in both DAO and DA2, saving the protagonists, and never taking any hostile action other than perhaps defending herself if you so chose to attack her.

Why not? She is ancient, powerful, and threatened to kill Morrigan. Plus I don't like leaving things unfinished, I went to kill her in Origins, and damn it. I'm gonna' do it!

She will have to put her plans into action sooner or later. She won't be ignored forever. People are starting to take notice of her involvement. Just look at Varric and Cassandra's conversation at the beginning of DA2

She didn't. Morrigan lied to the Warden in order to achieve her aims (killing Flemeth and acquiring her grimoire). We don't know why Morrigan lied nor do we know what Flemeth's true intentions are or were.
Also, being ancient and powerful aren't really excuses to kill something.

Bah, witches! Can't trust a word they say.

I have to ask if there is a canon source behind this or is it just your own theory?

I suggest you go through the material more thoroughly. When telling Flemeth that Morrigan knows how she extends her life she says, "Indeed she does. But do you?" Yavana also tells Alistair that Morrigan is misguided and Flemeth's ritual is a gift. Not to suggest, of course, that Flemeth and Yavana are trustworthy, but Morrigan was at the very least being economical with the truth and manipulating the Warden.

Then again how can we really trust Morrigan or Flemeth (and to an extent Yavana) Morrigan learnt how to lie and manipulate at Flemeth's knee, if you can't completly trust Morrigan's words then how can anyone trust Flemeth's when everything that Morrigan is, is what Flemeth made her; and whilst its hard to gauge Yavana's motives from what little we've seen of her, its seems from the comic shes more pro-mummy then Morrigan is.
As for Flemeth in DA3, I'm hoping shes back with a bigger role in DA3, same with all of the Witches of the Wilds (I was expecting a bigger role for her in DA2 to be honest)

And possessing Morrigan would make a lot of sense. Morrigan's ultimate goal in DA:O was to give birth to a body that's acting as the vessel for the spirit of the old god. If Morrigan's telling the truth (and it's unknown whether or not she is), then an unwitting Morrigan would have returned home with her rather unusual pregnancy, only to have Flemeth steal her body. At that point Flemeth would have become the biological mother of the god-baby.
Flemeth herself neither confirms nor denies Morrigan's claims, leaving the whole thing a big question mark.

I agree. Sooner or later they will have to involve her but I think that she will be on the good side in the end. Just my gut feeling.Arokel wrote...

She will have to put her plans into action sooner or later. She won't be ignored forever. People are starting to take notice of her involvement. Just look at Varric and Cassandra's conversation at the beginning of DA2
Maybe in DA4 if not in DA3

I don't think so. Too many people on this forum have crazy revenge fantasies involving Morrigan and Flemeth. Bioware will cater to them.KENNY4753 wrote...

It also depends on the type of player you are too. Make it so you can side with Morrigan or Flemeth then.marshalleck wrote...

If the player base begins to sympathize a bit too closely with characters the writers don't want us to, they'll do a hatchet job on them and turn them into kitten-stomping jerkwads.

Did you play DA2? She gives Hawke that Amulet because to have a backup plan in case she died (aka Morrigan finding out her plan and having the Warden kill her). She says "If I know my Morrigan, she already has" or something like that. It's not like Anders where he was alive because he fled the battle at the Keep.jpraelster93 wrote...
She should not have even been in two if you killed her

But seriously... I hope she doesn't turn out to be the bad guy. That would be too obvious.
Hey, I specifically told Kate Mulgrew that at the Fan Expo. She promised to pass that theory onto the producers.
