I created a new account a week ago so that my xbox live/eaorigin/bioware forums email account would all be the same.

However...when I log into the account on here...it's still not letting me post to these forums.

Can anyone assist me here?

You post doesn't show any registered games (no icons above your join date), so you can only post in general forums. Games can be registered here.

I can't even post in this thread with my new account.

Still, yu can use that link for any and all your accounts to check whether your games show as registered. There are older threads on this same problem here, but the usual advice is to contact EA support.

In order to register your games you have to be signed in with the same account as you play the game under. Ridiculous I know.
