Everyone did good, but I really thought there were more of us left playing.

ah ty, thought so
X360: 322,410
PS3: 82,465
PC: 19.9153
Total: 604,028
322 + 82 + 20 = 424 to me
anyway, as usual, PS3 splach thingy issue giving us hope that the PS3 community isn't that small, though it's true that when creating a lobby on PS3, you can wait for days till it fills up

true but i can't help but be skeptical about that number
I don't believe it at all. period. On weekends where eveyrone is playing for lots of hours we fail missions then on weekends after BL2 release we pass? My friends list on these ops used to be running like 30 hours doing objectives for the com goal. at least 50 people all running gold and platinum. plenty of mechs and we would still fail. now all of them moved over to BL2 and we pass??? I played 1 game during this operation for my com pack against ceberus on gold I used to play like 20-30 hours during these ops and we'd still fail.
BW makes up the numbers IMO
No actually we don't. I have no problem letting the challenge be a failure if it failed. We do look at previous events to see what sort of numbers have been happening and set goals from there. Really all events should be possible. A victory this close just means we had decent numbers and set an appropriate goal for you guys

I actually liked this operation. All forced to play as the same race. Felt like a true sense of unity.

I was at first worried that it would be hard to find a good lobby. On my first try there was one Krogan in the lobby and then everyone, including myself, switched to Krogan without anyone asking. Most of the lobbys were also set for Cerberus matches. Its nice to see a good effort rewarded.
Bioware please keep up the fun ops.

Go, Xbox. What's up with PC? I'm on the PC but I didn't realize I was in short supply.
Edit... see the error now, that's what I thought. Didn't look right.

Their assumption that Bioware is lying is based on this.ryanshowseason3 wrote...
*sigh* why is it that the immediate response is that BW is lying?
I don't care that *your* friends list has dried up. Thats one account, one microcosm. You don't represent the community at large. The entire BSN doesn't represent more than a fraction either.
The idea that the MP playerbase is dying is completely constructed from and by members here and is based on no objective source.
I was sick for about six months and sad about the endings of ME3. I only installed the game on my new computer this weekend, and I had a lot of fun playing with some old friends. But that's just one anecdote--no more valid than anyone else's. In fact, not valid at all, really.
The sad truth is, in gaming and in voting, you have very little control over or impact on the results. That's why the numbers can feel "made up"--because you were only an infinitesimal speck among thousands of other specks on 3 different platforms.
That doesn't mean they were made up. More probably, people saw the failure of the last challenge, and a lot of us stepped up to try and reach it. Not because the Victory Packs are so awesome--just for the frickin' hell of it.
I can take two days off from playing Borderlands 2 for this. I did so and enjoyed it, playing mostly on Gold for the extra Atlas kills. Clearly, I was not the only one.

Once again, you are imposing your opinion that everyone is playing Boringlands 2 to other people. While I am not sure either that those are real numbers, I think we did get at least 600,000 Atlas kills. On PC, Gold lobbies were filling in seconds for me this weekend. There were tons of Glacier/Cerberus runs. Even with our diminished player base, I think it was a perfectly achievable goal.
Anyway, congrats to all. Let us feast on our Eagle packs!
really cause PC only killed like 30k according to BW and like almost 200K for the PS3 and the rest was xbox
and its not an assumption. look at the drop in player base since BL2. why do you think BW did 600k when they used to do 1 million? They've probably seen a 40% drop in playerbase. and next months will only get worse due to halo 4, COD, RE6, and AC3. just saying.
Don't get me wrong, I love the ME3 MP, i'm just stating the facts

Fair enough. I'm not gonna call you a lair i'll take your word for it. Just saying that to me some of the outcomes feel about as real as a WWE match
