I'm surprised it was such a close call!
Now where is that Russian N7 guy with the usual cryptic comment?

I knew that me personally killing those extra 5000 atlases would be the difference.

the success margin was REALLY close with 604028, but you made it!
I second that, but I'm glad that especially our Asari and Quarian allies, but also the Turian, Salarian, Geth, and even Batarian and Vorcha allies (hope I didn't forget anyone) supported our cause so well. (edit) Oops: Didn't want to forget the infamous Krogans...
My squad didn't hold back missile weapons to blast those atlases away. What an important victory.

I saw a great level of team playing last weekend, something I can expect when playing with friends but not with people I see, and that see me, for the first time.
We talked and assembled our one race teams without much difficulty, and that level of commitment I had never seen before. I hope that it will be a standard behavior from now on.
My origin Id is StrangerToTheSky and to all the people I had the honor of playing with during the operation I want to say: Gracias Amigos
We did good and had a lot of fun doing it.
PS: Since there's always a snake in the paradise I must confess that I'm a little worried for the narrow margin (less than 5.000 mechs above the goal) so I guess that the time is right for asking Bioware new multiplayer DLC as an incentive to our victory and to keep the game alive, remember what other people posted about playing a new game released last week and their loss of interest in the operation and ME3 as well.

This weekend 600K Atlas mechs goal seems like it will be nothing. On a gold game you probably get 20 of them guaranteed, unlike escorts. I'd bet my teams killed 200 of them ourselves. So, comparing weekends for my teams: 40 times the number of successes, yet as a community only 2.6 times the number of successes. I'd expect that 600K number to be obliterated. Something in these numbers smells fishy.

I find these numbers to be suspicious. Last mission we needed 250K escort missions. I played probably 12-15 hours and got maybe 5-6 escort missions. The most you could conceivably get per game is 3 and often we got zero. Yet we came close with 230K.

You're basing this on the assumption that we had the same level of participation for this mission as last. I think we've lost a significant portion of the base, at least temporarily with Borderlands2, and that the forumites here played a SIGNIFICANT role in our success. I was surprised it was this close, but I saw on another thread where the debate was between whether we hit 1.5MM or 2.0MM mech destructions, which was pretty outrageous...
