Also reymonkey, you are basing you assumptions on perceptual bias. I played roughly the same amount during the last operation and had way over 20 escorts.Datdude1970 wrote...

I find these numbers to be suspicious. Last mission we needed 250K escort missions. I played probably 12-15 hours and got maybe 5-6 escort missions. The most you could conceivably get per game is 3 and often we got zero. Yet we came close with 230K.
This weekend 600K Atlas mechs goal seems like it will be nothing. On a gold game you probably get 20 of them guaranteed, unlike escorts. I'd bet my teams killed 200 of them ourselves. So, comparing weekends for my teams: 40 times the number of successes, yet as a community only 2.6 times the number of successes. I'd expect that 600K number to be obliterated. Something in these numbers smells fishy.
You're basing this on the assumption that we had the same level of participation for this mission as last. I think we've lost a significant portion of the base, at least temporarily with Borderlands2, and that the forumites here played a SIGNIFICANT role in our success. I was surprised it was this close, but I saw on another thread where the debate was between whether we hit 1.5MM or 2.0MM mech destructions, which was pretty outrageous...
In the end it doesn't really matter if the numbers are exact or not. See Bioware/Chris Priestly as a Gamemaster who keeps the story going.
What matters is that we did it, so go clap yourself on the back and ease up - you deserved it.

1. A lot of people are set on doing nothing but FBWGG
2. A lot of people don't care about the allied goal. For most of us, it's nothing but a jumbo pack.
I do it to help out the community. I know not everyone has 90% of their manifest done like me but I know people who couldn't care less because they don't benefit.

Here's hoping the Asari weren't too attached to Firebase Goddess' more...ahem...flammable furniture...and computers....and plants...and sculptures...and...nothing of value was saved. The Vorcha had this to say on the incident:
"It was all Cerberus' fault! It was burned them we got there! Why you question us! We save most of building from big machine and stupid white-armors! Everyone scared of fire! Fire kill good, burn metal! You no question our methods! Go away!"

Heh, the best way to win this would be with 600001 atlases killed, that way everyone would be able to say: "If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't made it!", which is awesome if you ask me. Still, pretty close, so every participant feels needed![]()
btw, thank you, bioware, for such balanced task )
Nice!

Was a lot of fun and more easier to get groups than I thought.
Closer result than I expected though!

This Operation was what I really wanted to see! Had myself an all Turian, all Krogan, all Asari Justicar team this time through...but nothing, and I mean nothing stood up to my personal favorite team: All. Vorcha. Soldiers.

I'm not assuming anything. I presented the data based on my own observations and voiced my suspicion, which is different than assumption. I am careful with my words. I just find it curious and yes, a but suspicious.

Wish I ended up in an all asari squad, I kept getting thrown into quarian matches that were just starting, as a drell vangard because the server hates me.
After a while gave up being on the right team and just N7 shadowed my way sunday night since no one else seemed to get the idea that the team was supposed to be all one alien race.

A. Your voiced suspicions were also assumptions, as there was no proof behind it.
B. Basing data on your own observations(and feelings) is also referred to as perceptual bias
C. Sometimes people just talk to each other, without meaning to hurt other peoples feelings. No problem there dude...
