I didn't read the splash screen, but it seem they kept the 1st sentence that make a lot of ppls ask 4 clarifications in the forum b4 the event.

EDIT:  Got the comm pack.....and a N7 Valiant!!

Sheesh, cut Bioware some slack. They have stated before that they have a limited amount of text to work with on the in-game pop ups, so they can't explain everything in great detail. 

At the very least, most people will likely double check here from now on.

@Tinned Bread - No idea they've said that. Probably because I never check here. Still sucks though and you would think that they could've worded it better. You're right by the way, I will definitely be checking here for clarification because I do not like missing these packs......obviously.

At the very least, most people will likely double check here from now on.

^This. They announce the weekends on two huge threads on here, and also on their blog. That's a lot of places to check. The pop-up screen is simply to notify you of the operation, not to explain the whole thing. It tells you so you can go to one of the many places with operation details to see what's going on. The simple explenation there is probably to remind players of the goal, incase they forgot so they don't have to go back to the site.

First time I got it I thought it was awesome, when I got Valiant II i thought it sucked compared to other snipers, I'm on Valiant V now and it shoots fast enough that I'm loving it now.

I've missed the explanation limitation too.

In that case it's better to put an URL for an explanation instead of an incomplete one. It will save them some misunderstanding rage... Just saying

i got the hurricane 6, never use it, but i was happy to get some medi gels in my victory pack, i've bought loads of psp and regular spectre packs and got no medi gels, so awesome

I've waited long enough for my comm pack to show up... Nothing. I tried going to comm pack help webpage but it gives me this error "Commendation Pack granting has expired for Operation Vigilance". Any clues on this?

give it til thursday, thats when the packs are usually finished been given out, if you still havent gotten yours they usually have a help thing at the top of the page for the packs

Here's a clue - wait longer. Once they believe all packs are awarded Chris has said he will post a notification AND a link should appear at the top of the page for a fresh, new, shiny 'patriotic' commendation pack help page....

Still can't compare with my Crusader, man that gun just plows through armor! Not really a sniper myself, I prefer pinpoint shooting with either Carnifex, Paladin or Crusader.

Apart from checking here on the forums, people could have also asked the players or their friends that they did the squad goal with on the exact squad goal conditions. Some random guy I was playing with asked me on Friday, I thought I stuffed up when I replied to him that we needed a FULL EXTRACTION with our krogies, but when I checked here, it was indeed correct.
