Still, thanks to those that helped me get the Commendation this weekend, particularly Vengent Kharma for hosting some non-human games.

Bronze is for new guys and cowards.
That, or for people who are leaving on vacation the next day, have packing to do, and want to make sure that they get the goal done and get it done fast, with a 100% assurance that they will get it, which is what I did (three krogan on fb ghost against cerberus on bronze... yeah, we kind of owned. Got full extraction no problem.) And yet the thing thinks I didn't complete the goal...

360 did the most ps3 don't no whats wrong is it thy don't like the game we need more help from them
Main problem for PS3 is that there isn't any way for folks to know that there is a mission going on, "in-game", except via word of mouth. That said, dropping less than 90K mechs is pretty surprising....mechs come at you whether you know there is a mission or not..... but this was right in line with the platform breakdown on Vigilance (i think it was)...XBox carried, PC did more than thier share and PS3 lagged.
If they didn't know about the challenge, they'd have no reason to set it to Cerberus. So this weekend they could been killing plenty of Geth and Reapers.

Calm down. It wasn't an attack on you. I was merely pointing out that a lot of the people playing bronze regularly (including myself) are either new to the game or too scared to risk the higher difficulties and this is why they use CMs more than those playing silver.

I play bronze out of respect for the other folks on the match. I promote as soon as I get my characters to level 20, so I have a wide array of character levels - Basically I follow the rule of 1-10 = bronze, 11-15 = silver and 16-20 = gold...just think it isn't fair in PUGs to ruin it for the others if I am unequipped to make a fair contribution....though I have no problem with invites or drop ins...dropped into a wave 10 plat match with a level 1 Engineer....duck, cover and occasionally overload.....got through without dying at least....no credits but went from level 1-10 in one match...

Lol, as I'm so new to silver, I only play with level 20's ha ha ha I think I'll def stick with bronze to level them up then play silver with them :-)
That's exactly how I remember I started playing. In my case I was pretty afraid of trying silver 'cause I didn't really know how to play fast and hard. When I started getting some better weapons and characters they became my more regular matches. I was even more afraid of gold. Platinum I haven't even touched yet.

Now if only ME3 had volume sliders for the mic (or, conversely, properly supported Creative Labs sound cards) so I could use my mic and talk to people. It'd have made asking, "Can you pick a non-human for the Operation goals?" so much easier.

And everyone is wondering why fewer and fewer people are participating in the events. Yeah, I CAN'T imagine the reasons. Maybe it's because it's NOT WORTH THE TIME?

Then you will have noticed that what I said was entirely fair and true.
A lot of the people on bronze are either new or unwilling to risk failure by playing silver. There's nothing wrong with this, it's how it should be, but they are more likely to use missle launchers against a single Atlas than the stronger players with good equipment and experience of playing games with larger numbers of Atlases.
The original point I was answering was that CMs were apparently being deployed more often in bronze games than in silver or higher. The cowards are a minority (but exist) and the new players are rarer than any of us would like (I've been play for less than a month and I'm almost always the lowest N7 number in any random game I join) but you still find more of both in Bronze than in silver.
When I have the upgrades to play silver at level 11 I will probably switch to a similar pattern of play to the one you describe. Although I was once dropped into wave 11 of a gold match with a 1st level infiltrator (first time using the class) and was the sole survivor (thank bioware for medigel).

I opened the Commendation pack and saw that Crusader and it felt like getting a gift at Christmas that was the wrong size but didn't have the tag on it anymore so you couldn't return it to exchange for something you could actually use. With the Piranha, Reegar, Wraith and Claymore, a Crusader will never see the inside of one of my shotgun loadouts.

No but they DO have a metric ton more people playing on dedicated servers with great netcoding, far more weapons, actual competition and team-cohesion requirements, and much bigger maps.
And a METRIC ton of hacks. One reason I quit the game.
