Huh. Neat. i have some credits saved up... maybe I'll buy a Premium Spectre Pack later. Maybe I'll get lucky and get that N7 Typhoon I've been looking for in the same pack.

Though, I'd rather not spend credits right now... I'm tired of level IV consumables already. Maybe I'll wait for the next multiplayer DLC to come along before i buy anything. There's rumors that the next DLC is not far away, so...

You can all thank me for this. It happens everytime I do a mass promotion, and spend 2M credits on various packs. The day afterward, Bioware releases more free stuff for me to spend the credits (I no longer have) on...

Oh well, good thing I enjoy playing the game, for its own sake. BF3 will come in time...

It was a free promo character, why on earth should people with BF3 be compensated?

Again, if you got Battlefield 3 specifically for a not-very-good-class in another game, it's your own fault. Buy BF3 if you want to play it, not so you can get some goodies in another game.

So what are you guys thinking for builds for this guy? I dont want to discard Carnage totally so I'm going with 6/6/6/5/3. Final evolution of rush to let you use an ability and carnage for some cc.

Running with a claymore, inferno ammo, setting up fire explosions everywhere. He seems fun, always wanted to try this guy but never wanted to buy BF3.

I brought BF3 as i was a big fan of BF2, BFBC2 and NF2142 but BF3 was quite crap. Nice to see that other people can now get this character. Just make sure you spec it for carnage otherwise its just a generic soldier. the +10 encumbrance is nice also. i run mine with a saber and it works well. Matches also.

You only unlock it once. After that each time it would come up in the random rotation you'll get a Level 4 equipment/consumable.

What skills does this soldier have? Same as regular soldier?

Carnage needs a buff. 1000 base damage and slow down its base recharge time to 8 seconds. It should work more like it did in Mass Effect 1 where it was great at sudden intense damage, but not good for rapid sustained damage like it is now. Fire a few rounds of an Acolyte to deplete shields/barriers, kill with the Carnage. This would make the Carnage classes very effective in combat.
