This is a feature the Dragon Age series desperately needs (well maybe not desperately, that's a bit of an over-exaggeration on my part). Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights and the Mass Effect series all allow the player to use the same character when playing through the campaign again and they get to keep all their skills/equipment and abilities too. Dragon Age has yet to have this and I don't understand why. I would have played through Origins several times as some characters I created.

Asides from the fact that we can keep building our character up in NG+, it allows us also to play as the character we've played for many hours previously and have grown attached to.

It's simple to include and would encourage a very difficult nightmare setting, but I'm not sure I care about this more than many other things the developers HAVE to get right this time around.

Well they've done it for most of their other games so they should have experience here. It's not like the enemies level-scale. It's just giving the player the ability to replay the campaign as their character with all equipment, stats and skills they have currently gathered.

New Game+ is a feature I've enjoyed in quite a few games, both action games and RPGs. It opens up alot of options for the player, including getting some of the gear you just couldn't the first time round.

I'd love for DA3 to have NG+.

Yup NG+ is great. I enjoy it in Mass Effect, I enjoy it in Jade Empire and I am sure I will enjoy it in Dragon Age 3.
