Mom turned out to accidentially get the 1st inferior choice of Motherboard for my Xmas by mistake (My fault due to faulty planning) instead of my 2nd better Motherboard choice suggested by fellow Forumites here on my PSU Feedback thread. I'm attempting to get it returned & refunded to redirect that cash to the correct Motherboard choice on Newegg. I only have till next monday (aka Dec. 28th) to get this done or my window of opportunity will close & refuns will no longer be an option, which could cause complete & utter puder upgrade mission failure. I've emailed their customer service, but fear they may respond too slow & blow the rest of my refund chance.

I have completely avoided opening or tampering with the Motherboard completely to keep it returnable. I have never returned an item to CircuitCity before & need aid in finding out how to get this item returned & refunded before the chance is lost entirely. I looked it up online, but they're not giving me clear instruction on what to do. The only useful info I found was they can't do this return for this Motherboard online. Posted Image

I beg for assistance.

Return Authorization Number

Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Authorization (RA)
number. Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website
or in our Return policy, you may request an RA within 30 days of the
original purchase date. RA numbers expire after 30 days, but we
encourage you to return the product as soon possible. Any return we
receive without a valid RA number will be documented and rejected or
subject to a restocking charge at CircuitCity.com's sole discretion. Click here to request an RA number.

Have you done this yet?

No, not yet. I guess I should, I have trouble thinking when I do this kind of thing cause the stress of trying to get it right gets me VERY nervous. One of the reasons for asking for aid. I'll see what I can do about it.

CREATE NEW ACCOUNT
www.circuitcity.com/secure/subscribe2.asp

I would assume you have to create an account. I don't know what you expect from us. I certainly don't work for Circuit City. They are cataloge/online only now they they lost all of their store.

Read this page very carefully:

http://www.circuitci...help/return.asp

And if you are still not sure, call them up and talk to someone and ask them to help you:

To cancel or modify an order, please call our customer service department at 1-800-THE-CITY (843-2489). We can not process this type of request via email.

I've already tried that page, & Phone Tech Support failed, I couldn't even get through to talk to anyone before I was disconnected. Posted Image That's much of the reason why I tried asking for help here. I can't figure out how to get an RA Number. The page ya specified has a link for getting an RA Number, & i've tried clicking it, & it takes me to a list containing just the Motherboard in question, so I click that, then that leads to Invoice Info for the Motherboard, but there's NO place there to get an RA Number. Getting an RA Number seems impossible. The Invoice also says they can't return/refund online, but don't I still need a way to get an RA Number even for trying to return it by driving it to a CircuitCity Store? (If even this is possible?)

I called the Tech Support on the CircuitCity Website 2 more times, & FINALLY got someone to notice me. I got the RA Number & the Motherboard is off. It's up to the snail mail now...
