Hmm after seeing Isabela's clothing...does this mean this mean that Hawke never romanced her... or just the fact that drawing the armor she wears when romanced would take too much time?
Likely the former.

So anyone else finished reading the final issue yet? If not, someone read it.....I want to talk about the ending!
Yeah, I felt the same. It seemed fairly straight foward to me; mages ruling over the entire world, unnoposed; with enough power to command dragons, souls, to even wipe out the memory of the Qun and Chant of Light.Reznore57 wrote...

It seems like Tevinter wants to take control of something "divine " ( old dragon blood , golden city) to have enough power to reshape the fade and Thedas.
I don't think it's conclusive. Maric wouldn't know what happened given he was imprisioned for a long time and Alistair would assume he was speaking of Goldanna's mother.Reznore57 wrote...
Marric said something about Alistair mom being dead , so I guess no Fiona .That sucks too.

I'm slightly confused about the "eight years"? Can we assume 8 years since Alistair was crowned? or since the blight? Certainly, Maric has been missing longer than that...this comic does take place after DA2 right?

This was my assumption as well, especially since his next line is, "It all seems like... days, maybe. Months," referring to the blurring of time that happens in the fade.ElitePinecone wrote...
It's possible the eight years refers to his time in the Fade as a prisoner of Titus, not the time since he went 'missing'.

Ok I just read it ...
So spoilers ....
The good news is No very cliché daddy sacrifice.I guess Maric was more or less dead for some time.
It was a bit of a let down for me , all this just to unplug an old man from his life support machine ...

All of this sort of remind me of the Hindu god , Vishnu who's dreaming the whole universe.
But I think the fade from DA is really well not enough crazy , I don't know how to explain this .
I think it feels too much like characters are going to the shrink...That dream like quality is missing from the writing and the art direction .
And it may be done on purpose , but it just annoys me .
Anyway ,overall I'm pretty happy about the comics , it kept me entertained during the loooong wait for DA3 news^^.
No, the death was Maric. Surprise!LolaLei wrote...

So Maric is very much not dead? Does that mean he's gonna take over the throne again? Could it be that Maric is just presuming that Fiona is dead, since in his mind she would've gone through the Calling years ago?
Also, none of the companions in it died did they?

Yeah, I agree that it's inconclusive. Maric doesn't only see dead people in the Fade. He sees whoever his dream warrants. So I don't think it's even conclusive about Loghain. Of course, Alistair didn't correct him about "only" seeing those people in the Fade, so maybe that does mean "mother" and Loghain are dead in this particular canon.MisterJB wrote...

I was less pleased with the suggestion Loghain is dead.
I was also confused. As for the timing the comic, the first one explicitly says it takes place in 9:38. We don't know how long it took to go from first issue to last, but probably not long. So... eight years ago was when the Blight started... so maybe the point of that date was that Maric was at least aware of the Blight, even if he was imprisoned at the time...? Then Alistair's in-Fade comment about the Blight would make sense to Maric.ElitePinecone wrote...

Yeah that really puzzled me, it almost seemed like a typo.
Maric went missing in 9:25, and Until We Sleep seems to take place some time from 9:37-9:40.
All
I can think of is that Maric was held at the Crows' prison for a fair
time before being freed by Yavana. He then helped her with her work
prior to his capture by Titus.
It's possible the eight years refers to his time in the Fade as a prisoner of Titus, not the time since he went 'missing'.

The thing is, though, they *didn't* happen. Not for you, since you don't make Alistair King.LolaLei wrote...

Lol, hell no! The bloody games worry me enough as it is with the possibility of them killing off companions, let alone the comics. If I don't read them then I can pretend it didn't happen.
