Well , I understand why Varric likes his weapon so much ...
I'm not sure I want to the story behind Bianca , I mean I really liked the whole "story I will never tell".
But hey if it means Varric finally gets some dwarven love going on ...
Anyway I like her style ,and she's really pretty .I really like the fact that female dwarves are pretty,not like other fantasy settings when they usually are trolled to death.

And it could be that he wouldn't need to tell it. It was mentioned in one of the interviews that the party will head to the Fade. I can easily imagine how Bianca's story is revealed there through demon's tricks even though Varric himself would never tell.

Yeah but he also mentions he lies a lot. I dunno. That and sometimes he just didn't seem interested at all, but maybe he's just been hung up on Bianca all this time. In which case the backstory ought to be really interesting.

I think that's probably it. He's probably in love with Bianca and she might be with him, and he just didn't want to be with anyone else. And his promise to Bianca might've been just that.

I'd go with the Warden/Hawke, then Morrigan would be my next guess. I'd also like to see a conclusion on what happened with King Maric, this could also be about Bianca.  I guess we'll see.

By "mixing it up," I meant fighting.

I think it would be more accurate to say Maevaris flirts with Alistair. And yes, there's a little bit of a ship tease between Isabela and Alistair, but I think that's all it will amount to.

Besides, I don't think this is a happily married Alistair, so you need not be angry about cheating.

I love how originally entering the Fade supposedly caused the Blight and required the bloody murder of thousands of slaves but the game/novel/comic characters freely hop in and out like it's a Starbucks.

Most times, it's just your mind that travels to the Fade, leaving your body behind. The Magister Lords physically entered the Fade with body and mind intact, and travelled directly to the Golden (?) City. That's why the power demands were so high.

I think it was mentioned awhile back that the Alistair in the comics is unmarried.  I was just commenting by way of my cannon game.

No, I'm just not particularly interested in the pictures. Which kind of defeats the point, but the bigger problem is that I think this screws up the pacing for me - since I'm not paying enough attention to pictures as I'm supposed to be, the action stuff just flashes by and the story doesn't work for me.

edit:  If I thought they weren't deep enough, I guess I wouldn't wish I could get into them.  I regret, because they tell stories that seem like they should be interesting to me but in a form I find difficult to appreciate.

Yeah I bought these comics out of interest for DA, but I was pretty dissatisfied by them. I'm sure they're great comics, I'm just not that into comics.

Same here, I also bought them.  I'm unsure if I will continue, no payoff in finding out anything new that the wiki won't tell us.  I was ticked off too with the price increase as well on the digital comics.

Alistair changed from puppy to bad-ass.. is not "my" Allistair. Varric doesn't crack jokes anymore, not "my" Varric. Isabella doesn't go all XXX on anything moving anymore. Who are those people ?

Unfortunately for me these comics are always about the characters I don´t like. (except Varric, but he was thrown there because everyone likes him). I wish we had more of the others like Zevran or Anders. Sometimes it feel bad being a girl in DA/ME universe. Your needs are always ignored in favour of trousers hating pirates, witches or bards.

Still if they make one about Merril I think I´ll stop reading them completely.Actually I am still angry that Alistair killed Yavana.
