These guys are NWN. I mean, hundreds of people were responsible for programming it, creating the art assets and all that. But this game...if it wasn't for them, it would have never turned out as good as it did. 10 years later, I still do not know of a game system as good as NWN.
Thank you, Ray & Greg!

Part of me wants to be a sport about this, but I still can't forgive them for selling out. They knew this was going to happen as soon as they threw in with Pandemic.
I must admit to a morbid curiosity, though, about what Bio has in store for the future. It's an unhealthy curiosity, like the one that draws your eye to a roadside accident as you pass it by.
I suspect we'll now see the mediocrity of Bios recent releases give way to a flood of soulless generic dreck in very short order. It's only a matter of time befor EA destroys Bios reputation completely and padlocks the doors when the brand loses it's draw. SOP for EA, I'm afraid.
There is some good news, though. Nature, after all, abhors a vacuum. Obsidian is poised to take over the niche that Bio has abandoned.

I wasn't sure how many had seen this and I apologize if it's a dupe.

Agreed, plus the staff that spoke for them on the old boards. They will be missed.

Bioware is just the name of a company. A company is only as good as the employees that it employs.
We all know who put BG and NWN on the map. It was done by people.

The Doctors... the founders.
Aah, yes, indeed. Quite an endeavour they had achieved. Not alone of course, but they were the ones that started gathering the flock, the team. Hmm, my favourite company at the time, if I recollect.
Maybe did I stop then, moved by some some kind of respect ? Or was it just nostalgia again ?
*thoughtful*
Nah, there is "Project Eternity", there is "Original Sin" : the adventures ahead seem more cheerful than ever.
Let me just epxress my gratitude for putting your thoughts so eloquently into words, because that's exactly how I feel.
