I'm not much for snipers. I just want a damned hurricane so bad... pretty sure the next 8 ops will give me Eagles, though. Eagle doesn't have wonky aim mechanics, so that, I could at least throw on a Turian Soldier and earn top score with (in PUGs, it's possible) for teh lulz. The Crusader just doesn't fire quite right.

If I somehow do get a Crusader XI next week, I think it'll redefine just what bad luck means with the RNG in this game.

actually that's pretty close to accurate (and lets give him the worst odds and assume he's only earned 10 commendation packs) i believe it would be  1 / 4^10   ... or   1/ 1,048,576


it's been too many years since statistics for me to figure it out give that we've had.. what... 14/15 possible now?  so it would be a decent amount less... but not too much. 


which brings me to MY question....  i just got a crusader for the first time.   before i say "how do i use it" and somebody says "look at it for a while, then replace with a better gun"  i have decided that i definitely want to give it a fair couple of runs....   Who does it shine on?   Destroyer?  Tsol?  Geth infiltrator? 
would it benefit most from stability / extended mag / rate of fire / damage buffs?

it's heavy... so i'm not going to waste it on a caster.... just wondering who gets first crack at it.    It seems like it's got some pretty decent damage potential after the buffs..   like a slightly stronger, smaller clip, heavier(?) saber

hes not. I know of at least one person who got a Hurricane X like over a month ago. Lucky bastard he was.

I use it on my QFI and do well enough with it.  Since Sabotage stuns most enemies, it can give you a little breathing room when trying to pin down an enemy with the Crusader (Nemeses for example).

The Crusader's aim is strange, though.  You essentially have to lead/anticipate your targets if they're moving since the actual shot lags slightly behind your crosshairs from what I've been reading.

I've seen two others with Promotional level X's; one had an Eagle X and another had a Valiant X. Anyway, you're definitely the first I've seen with a maxed Crusader. It's funny, because I want to like this gun so much, but it's definitely got some wonky aiming mechanics going on.

well, odds are youll get a high hurricane faster now...
in 2 months when you have the 3, AND the crusader X, youll look back on this day and laugh.

I've played a few Silver games with someone using a Crusader VII on a Quarian (can't remember which class/genre). He topped the scoreboard each game by an impressive margin and I was so impressed I added him to my friends list. I'll ask him to stop by and give some advice if you want.

It's the exact same as the Claymore. Earlier, I tried it out, and when I switched it back to Claymore X, the cooldown bonus was unchanged. I was surprised.
