So does this mean ME2 on PS3 will be patched to allow save file transfer if we already own ME2 & 3 on disc? Also will we see a disc copy because I'm not a fan of digital downloads.

im sure there will be a disc copy and as to the first question they arent so stupid to not do that so I would assume yes but I could EASILY see them doing something where only the ME2 disc that comes in the package has the update

They better patch it so we can import our Shepard if they don't imagine the outrage the players will have. About the disc how knows maybe at some point.

If the dlc was going to be included they would have been stupid not to mention it in the release info so Im gonna guess not

But on the store there are no DLCs for ME2 apart from Arrival and some weapon packs because the rest was already on the disc. If there is no DLCs on the new ME2 disc included on the trilogy then they would have to put those DLCs on the store (LoTSB, Overlord, Kasumi, Zaeed,etc...)

Too bad this is pointless, my idea was to have a DIrector's Cut thing with it, so ME3 is a really different game.

As scummy as it would be to release this set without the DLC and for a higher price point than one can currently buy all the games individually for anyway. It would be better than nothing to have them release all the extra DLC and limited time content on the PC and 360 store fronts than not at all.

But as it stands it would make far more sense that the DLC and extra content will be in the set, because they are stark raving mad if they think people will buy a no frills set for $20-$30 more than they can get all the games at currently. Even the PS3 people could just get the single PSN release of ME1 together with retail copies of ME2 and 3 separately for less than the new set.

1. Will our already purchased and installed DLCs work for these(I've got all the DLCs for ME2 and ME3 already) without having to re-buy/re-download+install? Or is this bundled with all the DLCs already?

2. Will the 360 version have the graphical updates on ME2 that the PS3 version got?

3. Will we be allowed a discount by trading in our existing games for this?

4. Will the PS3(and obviously other versions) version of ME1 be enhanced at all like ME2 for PS3 was?

Also I find this kinda funny, since a couple of weeks ago I sent a tweet to Patrick Weekes half-joking about Re-publishing ME1 under a different title as a way to get around Microsoft's license holding.

MS only holds the right for ME1 XBOX version.

PC and PS3 rights belong to EA. If you have a ME1 PC DVD, you can see the EA logo there, not MS logo.

as much as I love to have a HD version of mass effect 1 on ps3 and have all the dlcs added on disc like mass effect 2. will this be announced for world wide countries such as the Uk or Australia. Wouldn't be Fair if it was only Exclusive for America and Canada???
even though I paid heaps on this game and didnt completely enjoy mass effect 3 ending. I would certainly love to buy the ps3 or pc version if it comes to Australia/ New zealand also.

Will it also be a Trilogy on the PS3? Because I am partly doubtful... but if it is, I will buy it!! If it isn't, I will buy it, anyway!! For that book! Although, I still would have preferred it if you guys waited for the next gen consoles... It feels... early... right now. Oh, and only dudeShep on foil?? Darn... You know, I actually wanted to steal the case for the regular version of the game, due to the reversible cover... Oh well, I still want it!

Meh, to get any of these fancy classes you have to play a ridiculous amount of games. Unless you're really devoted to the Multiplayer, you're stuck with the six standard classes and slight variations of them.

Well, you have to play a ridiculous amount of time to get all weapons and mods in the campaign, too - for instance you get the Widow on Thessia which is around 3/4 into the campaign. It's part of the fun, to not have everything from the get-go just like in the campaign. And no one said you need to unlock all the classes with all appearance options to have fun, the standard classes give a decent variation until you unlock your first "uncommon" like a Quarian Infiltrator which should happen after a few games tops.

I play other multiplayers, too (Starcraft II especially), but ME3 Multiplayer to me is has its own charm. I never played LoL, just watched some games on streams, I never liked the graphics - too WoW comicy style for me. But afaik you don't have all the 100 characters from the start as well, but have to unlock them in the shop, toowhich takes a ridiculous amount ot time, too so I don't see the difference to ME3...

They've already said it is going to be on the PS3.

One thing I hope they've done is add face codes to the original ME. It'd be a pain in the ass to recreate my canonshep all over again.

Interesting, but don't see how it applies to 360 players, such as myself. Already have all the games, why would I buy them again? Anyways, happy to hear PS3 players will be able to experience ME1 now.
