ME1 on PS3... I can't believe this. I finally get to play it!

How did this happen?

but we have to re-buy ME2 and ME3 to get it Posted Image

I hope it can be seperate

It should also be available as digital download separately for PS3.

sooooo does it include all DLC?

I already own all 3 games on PC, but I would definitely buy this if it had all DLC for the PS3

According to this Mass Effect 1 will also be available in digital form as download for PS3, so those who already have ME2 & 3 don't need to buy the whole trilogy.

Does the existing version of ME2 on PS3 have an import ability?  Or is that going to need an update then.

False advertising is bad, mk?

At the very least that doesn't apply to ME3  AT ALL, when it should apply the MOST. >_>

Profound consequences as in letting the Krogan get wiped out or sacrificing the Geth or Quarians you mean? Oh, yes, we have those!

WOW that's cheap! You know everyone on these forums already has a copy right? hehe :P

But seriously, why so cheap?

Hmm, for xbox you can get the platinum hits versions for ME1 and 2 for really cheap under $20USD.  You can get the PC version of ME2 for around $7 on disk ME1 for around $11 on disk.  And ME3 is often at around $20 new.  I do wonder if there will be DLC included.  The only "good" thing so far is it has ME1 for PS3, but then why would anyone spend another $60 to get that one game-hopefully, for PS3 owners they'll make it available separately.

I ony played ME2 on a friend's PS3, so I can't say for sure, but I believe the vanilla ME2 didn't have an import function for ME1. But since they'd need it for the ME2 trilogy-version anyway I'd say there'll be a patch for the existing ME2 as well. Wouldn't make sense otherwise

So a number in a nonexistent stat counts as profound consequences these days?

I was very close to buying an xbox just to play ME1. Now I don't have to. I just hope that I can get ME1 on it's own as I have ME2 and ME3. But this is very good news BW, very good news indeed :-D

Come again?

If the Krogans or Geth / Quarians aren't real enough for you and the outcome on Rannoch and Tuchanka didn't mean anything to you then I can't help you. Both are considered by a large portion of ME players among the best story arcs in the whole series.

True, but that doesn't save the main story arc from being controversial and (IMO) extremely terrible...

But we all have our opinions!

Glad to see PS3 folks will be able to play ME1 now. I'm surprised Microsoft Game Studios went for that.

Despite what many people have been saying over the last few years, I doubt Microsoft ever had any say on which platforms the game could be released on. They only published the Xbox 360 version. The PC version, and soon the PS3 version as well, are published by EA.

What prompted Bioware to sell this so cheap? How long has ME3 been out?

I never said the story as a whole wasn't controversial, but saying your actions don't have profound consequences in ME3, especially considering the mentioned two story arcs is just false.

That has me wondering, too. Omega isn't out yet, so will that and future DLC not be with the Trilogy?
