Well, just the main ME2 & ME3 DLC (Kasumi, Overlord, LOTSB, Arrival, From Ashes & Leviathan) is worth over $50. Add Omega to that and you have EA getting another $60 from the people who buy the Trilogy. And that's not counting all the weapon/item packs... Not that surprising I guess...timj2011 wrote...

-The trilogy should be sold complete or not at all.
-It should be postponed until after all the DLC has come out for Mass Effect 3.
-All DLC should be included for all three games on one DLC disc.
-All cutscenes should feature the weapons I have equipped.
Mass Effect 1
-Bug fixes for quests.
-Better inventory management.
-All DLC.
-Change building layout for unknown planet missions, just put a different skin on them or something... (I shouldn't be going to the same 2 prefab buildings on every planet.)
-Texture load times.
Mass Effect 2
-Bug fixes.
-All DLC.
Mass Effect 3
-Bug fixes...
-All DLC that has been released and has yet to be released.
Just make it come out next year for $80 usd and I might even buy two copies!

Hi everyone
Answering some of your most asked questions. Will provide more detail as the rest becomes available:
What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy? Will the original Mass Effect be available as a standalone game on PlayStation 3?
- On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.
- On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.
- Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.
Is the Mass Effect Trilogy compatible with other versions of Mass Effect?
- YES the original Mass Effect will be available as a standalone digital title through the PlayStation Network for $14.99. It will release the same day as the Mass Effect Trilogy on PlayStation 3.
Hope this helps. Keep asking any unanswered questions and I'll keep working on the answers.
- Yes, the Mass Effect Trilogy is compatible with other versions of Mass Effect. This means you can use saves from across the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 titles with the Trilogy. Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is also compatible across different versions.
So, would I be correct in deducing you get pretty much the same as if you bought each game separately?

You get Bring down the Sky und Pinnacle Station on disc with ME1. So the only really new thing would be the inclusion of Pinnacle Station and not needing to download BdtS. Huzzah!
edit: on disc only on PC of course (likely PS3 too?)

I'm gonna guess BTDS & Pinnacle Station for ME1 and Kasumi, Overlord & LOTSB for ME2 (to not mess up with previously released version for PS3)LadyWolf70 wrote...

Sounds right, since Cerberus Network comes with new copies of ME2, and online pass comes with new copies of ME3. ME1 doesnt come with the DLC but BDtS is a free download.
On PC its cheaper to buy them all seperately it seems. Amazon has ME1 for $11.81 ($8.10 if you want to trust the marketplace), ME2 for $7.18 ($3.95 new on the marketplace), and ME3 for $19.99 (same on the marketplace). Pinnacle station is a $5 download.
X-Box runs about $57 for them all seperately and PS3 $53 and it includes all of the ME2 story DLCs

Because PS3 version came out a year later than 360 and missed the chance to get Terminus pre-order bonus and there was no Collector's Edition of ME2 for PS3 so they had no chance to get Collector Armor & Gun?jdmteggy4life wrote...
so how come 360 users still cant get terminus and collector dlc wen ps3 can just buy it off the marketplace and pc users can mod it in or sumthing???!!!

I would have bought it without even really needing it, but it's not a good value.
Hopefully it changes. Should have been a "masters collection" with all the goodies, even if at a higher price.

Not like it would've been the final/ultimate collection anyway since ME3 ain't done yet with DLC. In a year or two, I'm sure there will be another bundle with all DLC includedPKchu wrote...

I think they might've jumped the gun a little here. I appreciate their releasing ME1 for PS3, provided it's not a mere port of the 360, but they should've waited a little longer on the Mass Effect Trilogy Pack. An awesome ME Trilogy Pack would have ME1 and ME2 running on the ME3 engine with updated graphics, textures, and perhaps even gameplay. They might even have released two versions: a standard version without DLC and a deluxe version with all DLC to give people both options. For continuity's sake also, they could standardize FemShep in all three games once and for all. And, since we're dreaming here, perhaps they could add further missions for coherence's sake (such as Shepard's trial!).
As it is though, it reminds me of LucasArts recent Kotor Duology release. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
PS: Ubisoft is releasing their Ezio Trilogy with all DLC. Coincidence? Pity it's only for PS3 but Ubisoft has been pretty harsh on PC users of late.

I agree. When I saw the announcement yesterday I was hoping it would be like an ultimate edition. ME1 and both DLCs, ME2 and all DLCs including promotional and pre order one, and ME3 with Extended Cut, all Multiplayer DLCs (since theyre free anyway), and all preorder and promotional DLCs (since its still so new I wouldnt expect the paid DLCs to be included yet).

Thanks for the details, Evil One.
Saves I pretty much expected to be a given/didn't care much about(I usually make new playthroughs rather than revisit old ones)
What I'm concerned about are the DLCs that I've already purchased, downloaded, and installed. I have a slow connection and a 5gb per month data limit. So re-buying/downloading like 10GB of data, on top of possibly having to purchase Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker, and Kasumi: Stolen Memories which came included with the PS3 version of ME2 I already bought nearly two years ago, wouldn't be easy for me.
Also since the Trilogy will be compatible with other versions of Mass Effect, does that mean that the PS3 version of ME2 will be patched to accept imports of ME1 saves, or has that been inside the game data the entire time, and just isn't seen normally?
