Just checked the price from Amazon.uk and it is possible to buy the whole set for ~30 €. The trilogy goes for 48,90 € @ Verkkokauppa.com for PC. There's one problem when buying them separate: you will not get any DLC except BDtS and Cerberus network stuff for ME2. So it will probably end up cheaper to buy the whole trilogy set (assuming that it comes with DLCs).LTD wrote...

What's the point of this Trilogy if it has no DLC whatsoever.
Jesus, huge disappointment, won't recommend to anyone. Buying all games separate is 2x cheaper at least in PL.
It is ridiculous. I'm positive someone reasonably crafty in navigating bargain bins( digital or otherwise) will have no difficulties whatsoever finding new ME1 and ME2 for 10-15 dollars each.Even easier finding ME3 for that 30-40 bucks.
Edit,
3 mins and one Google search later..
(Sites in Finnish. )
Brand spankin new physical versions of all three MEs,for grand total of 34e. There ye go. This is approx 25-30e cheaper than buying the box set in Europe.

Ofc, that 30e difference in price is fine and acceptable, because DAT LAMINATED PICTURE OF SHEPARD OH MAN. IMAGINE HOW GOOD THE PIECE OF PAPER WILL SMELL WHEN ITS BRAND NEW MMM OMG DAT SMELL OF NEW. Who cares if NONE of the content DLCs for 3 year old game has been packaged in, as long as it has PICTURE OF SHEPARD. Oh pleaese god take my money EA I REALLY must buy this awesome product.
..Seriously tho, its like they are determined not to add any value in. Art book? Geeky scifi dog tags and an inflatable Revenant? Behind the scenes book or dvd about birth, history or world of the Mass Effect? Interviews? Insight, " Director's commentary" So many relatively cost effective ways to add value in this. They end up going with..a picture of Shepard? Lol. This is one huge big box of nothing.
..Tho I can easily imagine this box having huge value for PS3 owners. Or atleast it does in alternate universe where somebody serious enough about gaming to enjoy cRPGs is still trying to play modern video games on that particular generation of consoles.

As far as we know, MET won't come with any DLC.

Then don't buy MET. Meanwhile, new players who never tried the franchise can get all 3 games in nice box in a single place without having to search for any big deals on each separate game to get all 3 for cheap. Not to mention thanks to MET the first Mass Effect is coming to PS3 finally, so really, I don't see any problem here. You can just wait for another trilogy collection with all DLC that will surely come out in a year-two.
I won't buy MET, and likely won't buy a MET Deluxe. Before ME3 release I was a strong supporter of a big trilogy edition, and really wasn't happy about them not making one. What we get now wouldn't have been my preferred way to do it (only including the basic games), but it would have been fine. I think making such a collection now without at least the important ME2 DLCs isn't cool, especially if there will be an MET Deluxe someday. Oh, and my search for finding all 3 games that cheap consisted of going on Amazon and typing Mass Effect.
And I'm really psyched ME1 is coming to PS3, that's truly great news!

But Amazon ain't the entire world, let's not forget. In any case, if they didn't do first MET now, then PS3 fans would probably have to wait even longer for ME1 on PS3, EA would most likely not be willing to invest in a port to a 5 years old game if it wasn't part of the bigger project that could bring enough revenue to cover the costs of such port.TheRealJayDee wrote...

I know for a fact this isn't quite true. For instance, in my country there is no local Games or Gamestop, etc. Furthermore, Amazon doesn't ship videogames either. Nonetheless, this applies to every game that is released and is not just restricted to Mass Effect so it's not like I'm fuming about it. I've already accepted that people live in different worlds.

And that's just Amazon & GameStop. At Best Buy & Wal Mart, ME3 is still $39.99 so the cost of buying all 3 will be even higher.

Hi everyone
Answering some of your most asked questions. Will provide more detail as the rest becomes available:
What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy? Will the original Mass Effect be available as a standalone game on PlayStation 3?
- On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.
- On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.
- Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.
Is the Mass Effect Trilogy compatible with other versions of Mass Effect?
- YES the original Mass Effect will be available as a standalone digital title through the PlayStation Network for $14.99. It will release the same day as the Mass Effect Trilogy on PlayStation 3.
Hope this helps. Keep asking any unanswered questions and I'll keep working on the answers.
- Yes, the Mass Effect Trilogy is compatible with other versions of Mass Effect. This means you can use saves from across the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 titles with the Trilogy. Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is also compatible across different versions.
Some of you keep saying that there will be no dlc for the trilogy, read Chris's post again and see that you are WRONG!
Even though the DLC that we want is not listed in Chris's post he did not say those DLC will not be available.
The orange highlighted sentence
"Answering some of your most asked questions. Will provide more detail as the rest becomes available:"
That means there is more to come and that what you want may be included and that Chris will say more next time he post, hopefully he will say the DLC we want will be available.
The blue highlighted sentence
"Hope this helps. Keep asking any unanswered questions and I'll keep working on the answers"
This means chris is watching and is working on the answers, some of you keep posting "there will be no DLC"
which is OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE, as there is already added content according to chris's post.
And I hope by the time the Trilogy is released Chris would have told that the trilogy has at least most of what we want.
What I want are at least improved graphics, extra gameplay content and important story DLC for the game to be worth my money!
Some of you already understand what I am saying!

Let me rephrase: there won't (so it would seem at this time) be any more DLC than that which already comes with the standard editions of each game. At the very least, that seems to be the case with ME2 and ME3 (and ME1 for 360).
On a different note, I'll repeat my question from earlier, does this mean we can finally register our copies of ME1 on the BSN?

I would buy the Mass Effect Trilogy for the improved graphics and what Chris said is already in the game, getting the other DLC will be an inconvenience but not much trouble.
If the graphics, the bugs and glitches are not fixed, its highly unlikely I will by the trilogy.

Why would they improve the graphics? Thats alot of extra work that costs time and money. I'd love for that to happen but there is a snowball's chance in hell that it will.
I dont expect any genration changing improvements, I do expect for them to "clean up" the graphics, make it smoother and sharper.make the graphics look like truly modern graphics and not glitchy rushed graphics we got for PC ME1 AND ME3.
I want the graphics improved to the point i wont notice any glitchyness, nor any problems, I want them to IRON OUT the graphics of all 3 games.
If they dont do that the trilogy pack is not worth my money. EA made Bioware rush Mass Effect 3 and we all know how that turned out, ME2 has well done and properly modeled and contructed graphics, even that ME3 graphics has better textures , sharper colors and overall clean look, the graphics are glitchy poorly put together and bad modeling.
Same thing for ME1 PC, I want Bioware to clean it all up for the Trilogy Pack, and I will be watching video reviews to see if they did that properly, I would rather buy a cleaned up trilogy pack, than to buy all three games seperate and download graphic patches and dlc for each game.
