And I hope Bioware delivers, I wont mind they delay the release, as long as they use the time to make the improvements we want and the price remains $60USD as the trilogy to me is not worth a cent more!

But delaying the release would mean no Trilogy on "N7 Day." And they're obviously not going to do that.

From what I gather, bringing ME1 to PS3 alone is a huge undertaking. They won't have time to do any graphic-changes. If you're on PC and want better textures, there are tons of text-mods out there which look really good (especially Jean-Luc's ones). When it comes to consoles, they're already limited by hardware, no way they could crank up ME2&3 much further.
I think the patchwork gone to getting the ME1 import character feature up and running in ME2 would be more work than bringing ME1 on PS3.
Unreal Engine makes cross-platform development significantly easier.

I don't think it's that easy - ME2 took a year to get ported to PS3 and that was a newer engine than ME1, it's not a simple "copy / paste" procedure. I don't think patching in support for a ME1 import is more difficult than that, since ME2 still retained all the different outcomes of your ME1 choices on PS3 anyway. But if you're interested in what's the most difficult part, you can ask the producer of the trilogy yourself on twitter.

I really hope that Bioware decide to put the trilogy pack on the Wii U, I'd buy it if they did. While I prefer earlier, if they delay it to do some graphical updates I'm all for that but at least put an announcement and some updates about it.

The trilogy ended with ME3. Why buy an incomplete dead trilogy set? What a rip-off.

Experience an amazingly rich and detailed universe where your decisions have profound consequences on the action and the outcome.
False advertising is bad, mk?
At the very least that doesn't apply to ME3 AT ALL, when it should apply the MOST. >_>
I'm sorry you can't see past the ending decision, but your choices affected whether a number of characters (most of them squadmates) lived or died, whether Earth was decimated, the fate of the entire Krogan race in the near future, and yes, in what form life in the galaxy persisted.
If that's not profound enough for you I think you have bigger problems than "false advertising."

If I download ME1 off the PSN will my ME2 be able to take the save game from ME1?
I'd like to know this too. Surely it would otherwise it's pointless.

Someone asked one of the ME devs over Twitter if they would be updating the current version of ME2 to allow save importing, the answer was "Will do!"

When has a company ever re-released a game 3-5 years later with any significant bug/graphics fixes. Halo combat evolved aniversary was a nice change from over 10 years ago but even though a new me1 or 2 would be nice, it doesnt seem likely to happen. At least to me. If im wrong that would be great but you`d think it`d be a key selling point.

It is ridiculous. I'm positive someone reasonably crafty in navigating bargain bins( digital or otherwise) will have no difficulties whatsoever finding new ME1 and ME2 for 10-15 dollars each.Even easier finding ME3 for that 30-40 bucks.
Worse if you wait for a good sale on ME3. I got the Digital Deluxe version for $19.99 during Amazon's Labor Day sale bringing my grand total on the trilogy (not including DLC) to $45.59 with more ingame content to boot. Humorously I spent almost 4 times as much on ME2 DLC as I did on my actual copy of ME2, $36 vs $9.60. Heh I spent almost as much on ME2 DLC as I have on the entire series. No regrets

It would be a major misstep to not include the Story DLC for ME1 and 2. What should *At Least* be included in the trilogy:
Bring Down The Sky
Cerberus Network DLC
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Kasumi DLC
Overlord
Arrival
From Ashes
I don't know if Pinnacle station was story related, but if it is, then it should be added as well. Leviathan should be added as well, but I can see why it wouldn't, as it's relatively new. The guns, armor, and character skins DLC can be left out if they want DLC revenue to come in (trying to be reasonable with the business side)

Even though the DLC that we want is not listed in Chris's post he did not say those DLC will not be available.
The orange highlighted sentence
"Answering some of your most asked questions. Will provide more detail as the rest becomes available:"
That means there is more to come and that what you want may be included and that Chris will say more next time he post, hopefully he will say the DLC we want will be available.
The blue highlighted sentence
"Hope this helps. Keep asking any unanswered questions and I'll keep working on the answers"
This means chris is watching and is working on the answers, some of you keep posting "there will be no DLC"
which is OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE, as there is already added content according to chris's post.
The DLCs included in PC and Xbox360 version are posted by him.
There WILL NOT be any additional DLC in these versions. With that, he answered the question to DLC for PC and Xbox360. Maybe there will be impproved graphics (I doubt) or something else, but believe ... not a single piece of DLC more than already announced.

I will not be surprised if the Trilogy Pack dont sell well because it dont have every thing fans want, and EA/BIOWARE will have themselves to blame for it.
I am not counting my chickens before they hatch, so I will wait until Chris tells us more and the Trilogy Pack is released before I decide if to buy it or not!
It has Mass Effect 1 for PS3. Probably every PS3 ME player will buy it or buy ME1 on the PSN. Either way works.
And it's a convenient buy for new players, and a collectable for collectors.
So your statement is invalid.
